Jenny’s Alf was the A-plus place. I loved it there. The people were great and they knew what they were doing. Even after my mom had gone out, I’ve called Jenny (owner) and she’s been very open and very helpful. She’s very professional. She knows exactly what she’s supposed to do. She was very helpful in getting us started in all these. Unfortunately we had to move mom because when she took her, she already had six people. She thought that some other people were going to move -- they had told her they were going to -- but then at the end they didn’t. So since mom was the last one in, she had to be the first one out; that’s why we had to move her. The only inconvenience was it was a little far away for most of the other children; to me, it was fine. Nevertheless it was a very friendly place. Her husband was involved, her children were involved, and she had beautiful staff. They were tremendously tender and loving to my mom. Mom had a private room there, and the house is immaculate. They played cards and dominoes. They did activities like outside, such as barbeques. It’s very family oriented; we were in and out whenever we wanted to and always felt welcomed. She was my first encounter and it was wonderful. We’ve kept in contact which is nice because I’ve always feel comfortable about if I have a question I can call back and ask her.
