My mother-in-law has moved into South Campus Care Center. It's very clean, and the people are very nice and very attentive to her. She's getting good care. The staff were very knowledgeable. I have not tried the food, but my mother-in-law loves it. I am not thrilled with the layout of the building, but the cleanliness is wonderful. When she was in there, she went from laying in bed and hardly speaking to anybody, to being up and singing with others in the activity room; that was a huge improvement for her. They have a screened-in courtyard.

My dad was at South Campus Rehab and Nursing Center. He had congestive heart failure and had difficulty walking. He had been in the hospital for a while, but they sent him over there supposedly to get him back on his feet so he could go home. They tried to send therapists in to help him with everything each day and there was some that were better than others. The rooms were okay. They had two beds in each room, but they were kind of close together and were kind of cramped. The beds were not very good. He had to have his changed a couple of times. I did not think it was really all that nice. Sanitation was okay. The staff was not bad. They were pretty good and attentive.

I don’t like South Campus, their rooms or their staff. We never had any of the food, but she said it’s not any good. They don’t want to work with us and don’t want to talk to us. I think they must improve on working with the families. I can’t think of anything that I like about them.
