This place is horrible bathroom sink uses kitchen faucet, food is like a prison, cigarette butts all over the place on the ground and they do not follOw the daily activities also i saw couple roaches...one of the nurses use and reuse the pill cups. I asked them to paint the room, they never did. Outside land looks like it was damaged by a hurricane but never bothered to clean it up... The side building there is a van looks like it's been sitting there for years...oh lastly they put on the activities calendar "store" it never happen since i came in here on December and i am writing this to advise others not to make the same mistake by staying there.

I saw the staff dig out meds from the trash and then give them to the patients. I saw the evening male nurse use and reuse the medication cup over and over and wash it. I saw cockroaches. I saw them treat my deaf friend with disrespect. I saw them leave patients that needed help unattended and screaming HELP! while they would hide and whisper amongst themselves. This is just part of what they would do. Terrible, dirty, smelly, unprofessionale, unlivable FACILITY for ANYONE! MINUS STARS! Rooms nasty, no staff interactions, no activities and no amenities. Puke.

This facility is not well maintained. I was shown a small room with a small bath with the shower door loose. It is an old building. The staff was friendly. I did not eat there, but did see the dining room and the plates were still on the table with a fair amount of food left on them. The only plus is the monthly fee covers everything. I would not want to live there.

I visited this place back in October when I had to find a place to put my mother with dementia. The place was very dark and dismal. Residents were sitting in the dark in the halls and dining/activity room. It seemed somewhat dirty, but that may have been partially due to the darkness. They were decorated for Halloween, but I doubt that the darkness was for the holiday spirit. On a good note: the outside is cute with a huge front porch and fenced yard that has security gates. I had to have a resident let me in and get a staff person to give me a tour. Also the little bit of staff I did meet were very friendly.

I did not like Lake Alfred Assisted Living. It smelled, and it did not look clean. I would not put anybody there. They should clean the rooms and make sure they do not smell.

Lake Alfred Assisted Living is mid-size, cozy assisted living facility. It’s a really beautiful facility. They have nurse practitioners and their nursing staff were great and very hospitable. The residents seemed very happy.
