I can say a lot of positive things about Grand Oaks - Jensen Beach. I loved that the nursing staff seemed to know every single patient by name. And they explained to us that they would get to know them, know all their needs, all their likes, and all their dislikes. It's a smaller facility so they can keep track of everybody in that way. As for the sales staff, they were not pushy at all. Everything was black and white. There were no sales tactics there. It is what it is. They welcomed us, and if it wasn't right for us, they were perfectly fine with that, too. And I like that. I appreciated that. If you have someone who has dementia, or an ALS patient, go check this place out. I was pretty impressed with that. I think it was quite clean there. I did not sample the food, but I toured the dining room while people were seated there, and each person who needed assistance appeared to have someone assisting them. So that was nice to see as well, to make sure that they weren't just throwing the food down in front of them and leaving them. They were helping them, which I thought was nice.

I saw Grand Oaks -Jensen Beach. It's a very nice place. I would have loved to stay there, but it was too expensive. It's big. I was very impressed when I first walked in. It was clean. The dining room was excellent. The activities room was good. They had people there playing cards. They showed me all around. They even had a little theater there. The staff members were very pleasant and very knowledgeable. They took me around and showed me the rooms. If I was rich, I would be there.

My brother moved into Grand Oaks - Jensen Beach. The experience couldn't be better. There's three rooms, there's a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. It's excellent so far. I haven't tried the food, but he has called my aunt and told her how wonderful it is, and there's a great selection. He seems to be very happy with the people that he eats dinner with. I really don't know what other activities he would enjoy other than people and talking to them. It's kind of a life saver since we just had a hurricane go through and that building is new, five years old, and has all the capability if they lose power. He still would be able to function there, very safe, very clean, and the staff is very congenial. They couldn't have done a better job from somebody who didn't want to go into assisted living to making somebody very happy. It was the closest to where he lives, so his friends could come and visit.

Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach is a very beautiful place, and it's brand new. It was only built five years ago. They had a theater and a little ice cream parlor, and it's close to a hospital. However, I wanted something close, so I could go there whenever I want.

Grand Oaks - Jensen Beach was very good. I would've liked to put my husband in there, but when we were ready, they didn't have any openings. It was a nice and fairly new building. It was a lovely facility. The staff during the tour was very nice.

Grand Oaks was very clean and very modern. The rooms were very nice. They had different size rooms. It looked fine; it looked pretty good to me. The staff member who assisted me was very nice. I think it's a nice facility. I've been into a lot of facilities, and it's among the nicest ones that I've seen. The dining area was very nice. It was average.

I didn’t like Grand Oaks. It is a brand new building, but I got a very cold feeling. I wasn’t too crazy about this community. The visit was good, but I got a very cold feeling. It wasn’t comfortable or homey. I didn’t care for it. I didn’t like the apartments. My girlfriend wasn’t crazy about it either. It was brand new, and it was beautiful, but it is just the feeling I get.

My husband and I did a tour at Grand Oaks, and it’s a very nice facility. We were treated wonderfully. The staff was very pleasant; they answered all our questions. The residents that were walking around the facility all seemed well-dressed and happy, and the staff knew them by name. It was clean, wide, and airy. Of course they have an advantage because it's only been open since November, and it’s new.
