At Sodalis Stuart, I liked the way that the bathrooms were set up with a little ramp to get into the shower as opposed to stepping over like a huge step. The tile was canted a certain way, which made it easier for the patients to get in and out of the showers. That was one thing that I noted at Sodalis that the other place didn't have. They offer a full range of services, they have a hair salon, they provide food, and they do the meds and everything. They also have a 24-hour doctor on staff. The staff who gave the tour was fairly personable. I think the staff makes the place, but at Sodalis, I just feel like the staff wasn't as welcoming as the other place. They had a nice outdoor patio though.

It has a very strong decor for Florida. The people seemed to be happy there. It was meal time, and people were coming and going from the playing room. On the bulletin board, they had a sign explaining what to do in case of elder abuse, which I thought was a very good thing to do. There were people having a great conversation, and I saw people engaged. They do have games and an activities calendar.

It is very cozy and is a luxurious facility. It has like, a double stairway going upstairs to the second level. It has an ice cream place open all the time. The rooms were all re-done and there are about 6 to 10 designs you can choose from. They are very nice. You can actually wheel you wheelchair into the shower if you wanted to. They have a lot of activities -- many more activities than where my mother is at right now. They have buses going to places for visits. They have bingo and they have a craft room. They also have assigned seating for the dining room which I thought is a good idea. When we were there, the staff was very busy because they were having some wine tasting party. I didn’t get the chance to talk to any sales people because they were busy.

It is a facility that my mother wanted to see because our lawyer heard such good things about the facility. The lady that we talked to was phenomenal. We went to this facility twice, and both times, we were received very well and were given a good tour.

We moved our friend here . The room is excellent and we are really happy with them. They have a complete calendar of activities. Each day they have something going on. In fact, some of the residents have their own car. The food is excellent and they have a wide variety of food. The dining room is like going out to a nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly and nice. They know me by name when I go in and visit my friend. I could recommend it and more. My mother is in one and my wife's mother is in one. They don't compare with this. This is spectacular. It is an excellent facility.
