I moved to Teresa Village a month ago. This is a 55+ community. It is quiet here and it has accessible facilities. It allows small pets. They provide basic cable and water. I don't know if it's in general for everybody or just because I got the adaptable one, but mine has the handicap rails in the bathroom, which is very helpful. In the area here, if I use my wheelchair, I can pretty much get through every door, except for the bathroom. The place was built in the 1970s, so their facilities are older, and I've had to have a lot of calls on the dishwasher, the dryer, and now the electrical. The staff has been very nice. Meals are not included. They have the landscaper come so often, at the crack of dawn in the morning. They do have a community center and they do things. They have an area for you to go out and sit in if you want. And then all of the residents have their own little patio area or veranda if you want your own. That's why I pretty much don't have to go anywhere else. They have activities. If you want to participate, you can go and have arts and crafts.
