Englewood Healthcare and Rehab was dirty and had small rooms. They were smelly. You have to share a room. They take Medicaid, but it's just very small accommodations and small bathrooms. They need to get some more help there. The staff was pleasant.

My father went to this facility for physical rehabilitation it was a horrible experience for him. I cannot say anything good about this facility except do not send your loved ones here if you care about them.

Englewood Rehabilitation sucks, if I didnt get my 86yr old father out of there I'm sure he would be dead, they had 2 people taking care of multiple people, it took upto 1-2 hours for them to respond to my Dads call light, DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN ENGLEWOOD REHAB, I had to ask them to clean is room, it was nasty, I cleaned his room daily with Clorox clean ups, they was feces on his bathroom for days, attitude with most of the staff, I was the only bright spot too keep my Dad going. Dont do it !

Thank God my friend was moved! Worse place ever. Anyone that has lived in this town for awhile knows the reputation of "Drury Lane" as it is referred. My friend came into facility. Her clothes were stolen. She was left in the same clothes for days. No one helped her brush her teeth. No one had a schedule of when she was showered last. Drinking water in room wasnt changed for days. They had forgotten to give her lunch tray to her. Left sitting in her own urine untill it was dry. She is diabetic was served food with sugar, food God awful. They for got a few times to give her her insulin. These people should not be in business

this is not the worst place, but it sure is at the bottom. when my aunt came in 2010 it was wonderful, you could not ask for a better staff/rehab. it has been sold and purchased so many times. It gets worse each time. The aids and some of the nurses have to be the rejects of every other nursing home. they are short on staff, lazy, and very much attitude. if you truly care about your love one do not bring them here

I would like to tell everyone looking for a healthcare or nursing home to please check out Englewood Healthcare. My sister came there as a rehab patience but later was moved to long term care. She had kidney dialysis treatments and many other problems. She was there over four years. She really adjusted well there. She had a very nice room and a wonderful roommate. They became best friends. The nursing staff was fabulous with the patience. She loved all the nurses and staff they treated her with respect and lots of care and love. They had a really nice bunch of people working in the kitchen and would try and please the patience. I was surprised how clean they kept the facility. My sister died there a couple months ago and I have never seen anyone so peaceful when she passed. All the staff came in and hugged her and told her they loved her, then they left crying. They were truly a family and the staff was excellent with our family always there to answer questions and give us support the last few days.. I would recommend this center to anyone they are above kind and helpful. When and if I ever have to go to a nursing home I will leave Columbus, Ohio and go there. Love them all so grateful we found them.

My daughter spent about 6 weeks here. The food was cheap and terrible. She is a diabetic but what was mainly served was high carb meals that mainly contained noodles with very little ptotien. I was told they didn't have menus for diabetics. The very first night she was in extreme pain. I told the nurse. Two hours later the nurse never contacted the doctor for pain medication. She was sitting at the nurses station talking to another nurse.I had to get mad before she would do anything. They only have one nurse on the station on the midnight shift so it takes hours for help when you turn the light on or even go hunt them down. That is not enough help. They are way understaffed at night. You can here a lot of patients moaning in pain because it takes too long for one nurse to take care of everyone. Some nurses and assistant nurses were great , some were not. I've not been impressed with anybody in the administration department. The OT and speech therapist were very good and caring. They need more for the mentally handicapped and dementia patients to do. The only thing they really do was bingo and these patients are excluded and taken out of the room if they show up. She had blood in her catheter for a week before they sent her to the hospital. She needed three blood tansfusions because she was bleeding internally from the blood thinners the doctor put her on and lost so much blood. Many issues. Not a good experience.

This is the best nursing home I have ever seen. I put my great grandpa in here and he loves it. I love the work and care. The CNA'S and Nurse's are loving and caring. They are always working hard and busy but yet they still have time for my grandpa. I love this place and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nursing home

The rooms are fine and clean at Englewood Healthcare. The food is sometimes good and sometimes not. They must improve on communication.

I saw no "Skilled nursing." I saw no concern or caring. I did however see it took 14-40 min. for a response from any of the nurses when the call light was switched. The nurses laughed and gabbed at the nursing station for hours at a time. The director of nursing did nothing about our grievances and defended her incompetent staff. The behavior and quality of care is unprofessional if not malice in nature. I would NEVER recommend this facility to a loved one. One star just to get this posted. No stars in realty.

The lady at Englewood was very nice. She was very straightforward. The place did give the impression of a hospital but it was clean. The rehab center was redone. The other area was not, but it was really in good shape and easy for the wheelchair to roll down the hall. Overall, Englewood was very nice. I would have put my husband in there if they had a single room, but they did not. That's the only reason why he did not go to Englewood.

My friend went in at Englewood for actual rehab. In looking around, this was the closest facility for her. My friend has been there since December. Since her physical condition went down, she wasn't able to return home, so we decided that she would be better off in a full-time nursing home. We chose this one because she was used to it, and she likes the people there. Also, we like her treatment, and the price was reasonable. The facility is clean and pleasant. They keep everything very tidy. There is no smell. It doesn't smell like some of the other places did. My friend shares a room with another individual. There is adequate space in her room. The food is OK. I'm frankly not thrilled with the food, but it is OK. For the full-time residents, they have a number of different activities; however, my friend is not interested in attending them. She has always been something of a loner. The staff is very warm and caring. They have regular meetings with the patient, the patient's caretaker, and various heads of department where the status of treatment is discussed. They take recommendations from the patient and from the patient's caretaker. I find that very helpful.
