Facility always clean and clean smelling, regular toilet visits for residents, three good meals per day, plus snacks. There are daily activities that residents can actually participate in, like drum circle, Elvis visits, musical entertainment, therapy dogs and various games for physical as well as mental stimulation. Staff shows genuine concern and care toward residents. A nice smaller and quiet alternative to bigger facilities.

We were in Magnolia on the Avenue early, but they let us in anyway. We didn't like that place. The outside needed work and the inside needed updating/painting. We were so put off by it. It smelled. We are not going to choose that place. I was able to see two of the rooms. They were smaller, and one of them still had furniture in it from a previous patient. It also smelled like urine quite a bit. It doesn't really have an outside place that looks good either, except for a porch.

Our Home at Ware's Creek is all memory care. It was small. The location is right downtown and it's not the best location. There's not a lot of parking. It was a home that had been refurbished into a facility, but it did not have many outside grounds. It wouldn't be a good fit for my mother-in-law just because it's smaller and there are less people. She's very social, and she would do better in a bigger facility. Other than that, it's a very nice place. The rooms were very good, and their presentation was good.

We toured Our Home at Ware's Creek, it was very nice, but it wasn't quite what we wanted. It was all clean, they had activities going on, and the staff was very friendly.

The staff at Our Home at Ware's Creek was outstanding. She spent a lot of time with us and she was very accommodating. The rooms didn't have private bathrooms. You had a room and a Jack and Jill bathroom in between and then another room. We felt an overabundance of dementia patients and that wasn't the case with my brother-in-law. He's a little more with it. We didn't think it was a good fit, but the staff was outstanding. It was small and clean. It was old mansion that they converted, so the rooms were not big. Everything was small. We didn't think it was a good fit for him. The dining area was small. They don't have a lot of people there. It was just basic. If you're looking for a small facility with excellent care and you're not worried about whether they share a bathroom or a room, it would be excellent.

My father has been living at Our Home at Wares Creek for years. He has always been well cared for and we have always been very happy with the staff and management. My sisters and I have recommended this facility to two of our friends and will do this in the future if the opportunity arises. My father loves the food and the activities, particularly the group walks. My wife and I have enjoyed visiting with my father at his home over the years and have always felt welcome to drop in at any time of the day or night. This is important to both of us because of our schedules. We researched many facilities in the area, Our Home at Wares Creek stood out to my sisters and myself because of the warm, comfortable home feel. This has not changed over the years and my father is very content. My family and I are grateful for the loving people who care for my father at this beautiful home!

I personally don't like Our Home at Ware’s Creek. They have poor food, the rooms are very small and cramped, and they don't take care of the things they're supposed to. If my sister-in-law allows them to launder my brother's clothes, a lot of his clothes disappear. She ends up making food and taking it to him. It's just not a good place. The state had to come in periodically and inspect it. My brother has been attacked twice by other residents there. The only advantage that we have is that they are cheaper than the other places.

Our Home at Ware's Creek was my second choice if the first facility where my husband stayed did not work out. It was clean and they were very accommodating. When I visited, they were in the process of rehabilitation. Everyone was upstairs and they seemed happy and contented where they were. The rooms were a nice size and you could furnish it yourself. They had rooms with adjoining bathrooms, where the bathroom was for two rooms. They also had rooms for several people. But I wanted my husband to had his own room. The menu looked quite good although I was not able to try the food.
