My mom has moved into the assisted living here. I believe that she's getting quality care. It's a very positive atmosphere, very positive environment, and very clean. The meals are delicious to her. She said they're very good. She finds the whole environment very pleasant. She's happy to be there. All the staff members that I've met are wonderful. I've met all the new people. There are quite a few, so there seems to be some transition there (as there is in pretty much any workplace). The room is ample space, and it's everything my mom needs. She has a mini fridge, a little microwave, and the bathroom is ample for her to get around in. She has her shower seat and her walker. They supplied the extended toilet seat, and it is ample space for her. All the personal belongings that she values the most were able to be put in there. I've had two meals with my mom there. They have all been polite, very courteous, kind, and seem to pay attention. If she needs something like extra cream or whatever, they bring it to the table. They make sure everyone sanitizes their hands prior to entry. It has been very pleasant. My mom has just now this past week started doing activities. She went to an ice cream social on Tuesday, and that was her first one. It was an ice cream social, and an entertainer that came in and sang. There have been art classes, bingo, Trivial Pursuit and things like that (but she hadn't attended). The ice cream social was the first one she attended on Tuesday. They have a card game area. They have two outside pavilions with seating and umbrellas. They have a hair salon, but she hasn't taken advantage of that yet. You have to make an appointment for that. I rated them very positive. I've not heard anything negative from any of the people. Everything is very positive. It's a month-to-month, and my mom can leave at any time. They don't have to keep people that are disruptive either, so I think that's a good thing. However right now, they do not have a van for transportation, and that was part of what we were told. The staff that I've met have all been pleasant. There seems to be quite a few people in training, but everyone has been pleasant and seems to be accommodating. Any requests that I've had or my mom has had has been taken care of. There is a lot of new people, probably within the last month up to today. Food is great. Breakfast and dinner are the two largest meals. Dinner is a little bit smaller, which is how people normally eat at my mom's age. There are options. Like if you don't like the main meal, then you can have a choice of these other five items. Everything is clean. There are no odors. Everything is clear of clutter. It's very clean.

I moved here. So far, I'm really enjoying it. The people that I've met have been very helpful and very welcoming. I have a 1-room to myself and I share a bathroom and a kitchen with someone else, but right now that person has moved out, so I'm here by myself. I have a larger room, which makes me able to bring the few pieces of furniture that I have, and it's very comfortable. They provide all of our meals. I was just at a community meeting and the people that have been here for several years were talking about needing better food, but I said that it's so much better food than where I came from. I really enjoy the meals. If we don't want to cook, we have our own kitchen, so we can prepare our own meals. The dining room staff were the ones that I've interacted with mostly, and they've always been very helpful. Once a week, they come in and clean our rooms. It's been kinda crazy with the holidays, but they've done a good job. I have met the woman that sets us up with the activities and she said that we'll be doing more because the last few months, they haven't done too many. I knew they had a Christmas party and a New Year's party.

It seemed like a very nice place. If we have decided to put my mother in any place, this is where she would have gone. It appeared to be very clean. I liked the staff. It was handy to us, and the layout was nice. We liked everything about it. The main activity that appealed to me was that on Fridays they had entertainment with people who came in and sang and play music, which is something my mother enjoys, so that was of interest to me.

They are fabulous to work with, accommodating and wonderful. It's long term care -- a lockdown unit for Alzheimer's -- they have high-functioning; they have everything. My sister is getting 3 meals, which is more than she's used to in her own apartment and socialization and her medications.

They have been really good with my mother. It was one of the few places that I was able to check out that didn't smell bad and didn't smell like a nursing home. It had a completely different atmosphere than a nursing home would. They've got good people. I've eaten there myself, and the food seems to be better than average. They do Family Feud, bingo, and music activities.

It was excellent. The people we met were fine, very cordial, and very helpful. They did a good job explaining and answered whatever questions we needed answering. They were pretty attentive and followed up nicely. The rooms were lovely.

I went here, and I liked it. I think that my neighbor would fit in there very nicely, and I don't think it is too fancy for her. This one would be her style and if I were to choose, this is the one I would have chosen. I liked where her room would be and who her caregiver would be. I met the particular caregiver who would be on that wing. I liked the fact that she could pick off of the menu; she could choose what she wanted to eat, and that would give her some independence in a place that would be taking away her independence.

We visited here, and I had a sister who lived there before, so I knew a lot about it. We liked the rooms and the setup that they had. They had convenient and nicely appointed rooms. They had two buildings. One of them was for people who needed more care, and that's where my sister-in-law was. The other building was called the tower, and they had three-room apartments, and that's where my sister lived for quite a few years. We came unannounced, and everything they showed us was very clean. The dining area was very attractive, but there was no food being served when we were there. They had a daily activity chart list on their board.

We really enjoyed it and we like it. It would be good for me because it will be closer for me, but it is farther away from my brother and sister-in-law. We wanted to check it out because we heard good things about it. We like it though. We scheduled the meeting during lunchtime so that we could check out the food. They were very welcoming and served us lunch. The room was nice. It had been recently remodeled, so it was nice. It was also in good shape.
