We went to Lakeview Terrace. It's very positive, and very friendly people. We knew someone who was living there, so they hooked us up with them. We stayed there for a meal. The food is very good. We liked the sound of the food program that they had. We liked it. The rooms were roomy and everything we saw was very clean. We visited the couple that we knew, and they told us the things they liked and didn't like. I mean, nothing is perfect, but we like having a chance to talk to somebody. They have limited activities.

I toured Lakeview Terrace. It's just far away. The staff was great. It was very neat and well kept. The unit was nice, but it's limited, like they don't have any pickleball courts or that sort of thing. They do have activities, but I didn't really see much of it.

We toured Lakeview Terrace. I like the facilities, the size of the rooms, the location, the grounds, and the whole program. We had lunch over there, and the meal was really good. They have a gymnasium with limited items, they have a nice pool, and they have nice grounds. It is around a lake with a path. I ride a 32-speed bike, so the chance to do what you want to do is there.

We personally are making consideration of Lakeview Terrace as being a place of choice for us at a particular time. We've actually put ourselves on the waiting list. It seems to check all of the boxes for us from the standpoint of location, services, and price. They have tremendous facilities there. They've improved and grown dramatically in recent years. We've watched them as they've grown and made visits out there. We ate in their dining hall. We have friends that live out there, and everyone just speaks very highly of every aspect of it. It's a continuous care type facility, so you can progress from independent living all the way to a nursing home if you need to. The staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a swimming pool and a small golf facility. They have a variety of different engagement activities that keep the residents active.

I liked the Lakeview Terrace better than the other facility. We looked at two homes, and they were homes. The rooms were nice-sized and bright. They had covered carports included. The appliances came with the home. They had a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The salespeople know what they're doing. The staff who showed us around was knowledgeable, pleasant, and informative.

If I were forced to make a choice right now, it would be Lakeview Terrace in Altoona, Florida. They have independent, they have assisted, and they move you into nursing home care if you need it, but also there's a memory care area available if you need that. So the people there, they've got the whole gamut. The downside of it is they've got a real heavy buy-in upfront, and that's kind of a big put off. They're the only one we've toured that has all levels. We were able to tour independent facilities and we got a quick glimpse at assistance. What they do is, if you require assisted living, they will provide what they call the assisted living in your independent living facility, which is a great thing, because you don't need the move. The only time they're going to move you is if you require a nursing home style type of care. The staff who walked us through was very knowledgeable, and she made sure that we got a good sense of their whole facility. They have a good selection, that's the other thing that's a big positive for them. From a studio, they have it all the way up to a two-bedroom with a den, and everything in between. As far as space wise, they're kind of average, maybe a little bit larger than average. They have an excellent selection, and the ones we saw were nice. I love the location, it's rural. The nice thing about them is that they not only have the usual dining room area, but they still have kind of like a hamburger stand where you can get sandwiches and milk and stuff like that. That's where we went to have lunch when we were there. I do not care very much for guacamole, and the sandwich that I had had a lot of guacamole on it.

We found Lakeview Terrace. We just decided on it and this very day we went and put the deposit on it. We just made the tour and decided we had to do it. We looked at the models and we came back and looked again. It's very pretty, it's quiet, maybe some people wouldn't care for quiet, but it looks very appealing to us. We just saw the independent living and we drove by the other places and they look great, and some of it is a brand spanking new, which makes it appealing. But we want to tour the medical center. They have all the doctors and nurses there and we will look at it before we move in. The people there were happy with their choice, so that went a long way. There's a lot to it because it's on a hundred acres, but it's very attractive, well-kept, clean. The impression is very good. I like the rules, to me they're not restrictive, they just help keep it a nice place.

Lakeview Terrace was very nice and older but well kept. The person during the tour was very knowledgeable. We ate in the bistro, and it was fine. They had many activities including golf, bocce ball, shuffleboard, all kinds of card games, dance, aerobics, swimming aerobics, and yoga. The layout was good.

My husband was in skilled nursing for 16 months. The care was professional, actually loving and kind no matter what the situation might have been, easy or most difficult. His wit and humor amazed the staff and they responded in fun. Many on staff attended his funeral service. That was above their duty. I am filled with gratitude for a place like L.V.J.

My Grandmother was a resident in the unassisted apartment and throughout her ten years was moved into the assisted apartments and finally to a medical wing. The staff was so caring and compassionate. They took the time to interact with the residents on a personal level that went beyond their job. The doctors were always willing to explain in detail any concerns. The food in the dining room was varied and adequate. There were many amenities on site for both residents and guests; a thrift shop, a nail salon, hair salon, pool, spa and bocee ball. The facility was always well maintained and security was top notch. The
