I been wanting to leave this place for a long time but realistically I I can't do it all on my own right now.If I could take Maggie and Allison with me I would do it .They both are Ambassadors here at Abbott. These girls work hard and they do alot for everybody. Allison always makes sure my hair is straight. Maggie got my computer working twice already. My aide Arlene be hooking me up too. I LOVE the girls here They are all hard works .Deep inside I still want to go but leave my Ambassadors and my CNAs .I'm going to just chill cause they got me and I'm good here.

My mom likes being at this nursing home, staff is very friendly with her and if they suspect anything with her health they quickly send her to get checked with a doctor and they contact me. I visit her every week and have never seen anything bad. They keep her busy with activities, movie nights, games arts and crafts and more. I have walked in and seen how exited the staff is to show me what my mother has done. Thanks to all the staff in Abbott Terrace.

This is not a place to have any member of your family stay there. The place is awful. My father broke his hip and was sent there and it has been a total disaster. He was just taken to the emergency because of high sodium levels and completely dehydrated as well as having UTI. They lost his dentures for a few days, he has lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks. He will not be going back there again. if i could have rated them a negative star, i would.
