I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is at Hallmark Nursing Center. The facility is fairly nice and clean. You can tell everything's been kept up. They were cleaning the carpets. They have a nice lobby. It's a big place. They have a couple of common rooms, a library, a sweet shop, a fitness area, and a dining room. They have daily activities that all of their residents can participate in. Everybody that we met was very, very nice. The food looks wonderful and smells good. My dad said the food was okay. My dad had a private room. He had to share a bathroom with another room on the other side.

The care was average, rooms were average. Unfortunately, I had asked to be on our friends' emergency contact list, as he had no family . He passed and no one contacted me! The person I talked to said because of the Hippa laws she couldn't tell me anything and hung up on me! I have no idea of how he was cared for after passing. I am very sad, upset, mad, etc. Could've been handled more professional!!

Thank you for taking excellent care of my mom! This review is long overdue but better late than never. My mom fell last year and went to Hallmark Nursing Center for rehab. They were outstanding and had so much to deal with during the Covid restrictions. They were kind, attentive, friendly, and caring. I was nervous about taking her to a nursing facility since I had poor experiences with other centers when my dad was ill. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one's care. A special thanks to Susan, Jenny, Laura, Becky, and Trish. And thanks to nurses Cassie and Rachel for your excellent care.

Management is completely incompetent, which leads to staffing issues and inept staff (not all, but by far the majority). The rooms are small. The facility is not kept clean. My dad's call light would go unanswered for significant amounts of time. Communication between shifts was non-existent. Some employees would just leave without passing any pertinent information along to the next shift. My dad rarely got his showers. Laundry continually lost his things. CNAs would dress him in dirty clothes from the day before despite a closet full of clean items. Many times nurses had to be prodded by family to actually tend to my dad's medical needs. My dad actually went significantly downhill at Hallmark, physically and mentally. The only thing positive about the facility was a few of the activities they hosted that were enjoyed by my dad.

I visited this facility

My mom was in Hallmark for rehab. It's a good, clean facility with a nice dining room. They have a place to get your haircut and lots of activities. They had a nice staff and good food. It was a good experience overall.

I love this facility. The nurses are amazing, kind and compassionate and the facility is very clean. The nurses were very attentive to my mom and she was very happy here !

Looks nice from the outside, BUT. Here is what has gone on the first 11 days. My mom was admitted to Hallmark on 3-17-17 after a years stay in an assisted living facility. On 3-20 I witnessed my mom eating without her bottom teeth, I asked the nurses why, they had no answer. I found my moms teeth in the cleaning container. I noticed my mom was not wearing any shoes so I looked around. I found one shoe by her bed and the other in the bathroom all wet, nobody knew why. I also noticed that no one had cleaned her teeth since she was admitted. On 3-22 her teeth still had not been cleaned and she was eating again with no bottom teeth. One shoe is know missing and no one knows where it went. When we admitted my mom we told Hallmark they were doing her wash, no wash has been done as of yet. They gave my mom a wheelchair that was too high and she fell out smashing her head on the piano leg in the cafeteria. I had to show them how to lower the wheelchair. On 3-23 Suncrest Hospise called and said she had no more clean clothes. We called Hallmark about the wash and recieved the run around. 3-24 we noticed someone had hung a sign saying the family would do the wash, obviously trying to cover their incompetence. Still no wash done, we had to bring her more clothes. Her shoe is still missing and she is wearing the same socks since the 17th. We had to bring her a pair of slippers. 3-25 we had lunch with mom and tried to get a soda from the machine, the soda was stale and warm. 3-28 now her bottom teeth are missing and no one knows anything. Need I say more?

I think Hallmark has a lot more outside trips for their residents. They also have different activities and fitness classes.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mother is at Hallmark Nursing Center. Because it is a skilled nursing facility, what we really like about them is the staff. They're very friendly and warm, and they interact with all the residents there. They make sure that the residents are engaged. They don't leave them alone. They take them to their meals, and they involve them in activities. The entire nursing staff there is very warm to the residents. They just pay a great deal of attention to their needs.

Hallmark Nursing Center is more towards the end of your life. It is more of an intensive care. It was very nice, and it smelled good. It just cost a lot.

Mom is at Hallmark Nursing Center. She's more than taken care of so she's been doing really well. The facility has everything. It's also very clean, very neat, and well-organized. I really like that about them and how well they keep up with things. My mom's room is nice and she has someone there with her. The residents socialize and play games.

Last January, my father had a stroke, and the following February, he was released to Hallmark to get back on his feet. He was moderately impacted by his stroke, and was released to Hallmark to take advantage of their excellent physical, occupational, and speech therapy team. The rehabilitation staff is top-notch, and really go above and beyond to help their clients make improvements. The administrative staff and nurses are equally helpful, and addressed any issues that came up with patience, love, and understanding. My dad made a lot of friends during his stay at Hallmark, and I am grateful for everything they did for him. Perks like a long list of daily activities, an ice cream bar, and great food in the cafeteria make Hallmark a great choice for anyone in the area looking for long-term care of their loved ones.
