Parkmoor Village Healthcare Center is an A+ in the caring of the residents. The nursing staff is attentive to the needs of the residents by caring, listening, and insuring their comfort. The administrative staff is a cut above in their professionalism. They keep the residents safe, comfortable, busy with activities, and nourished. Parkmoor has stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic, to enhance the protection residents and increased the communication with loved ones.

My mother lived in this facility for several years until her passing. The main problem was laundry. Every thing we bought for her, nice clothes, socks, pretty blankets or quilts always disappeared and was replaced with junk! Many times we found her wearing someone else’s clothes! They would go to the laundry service and quickly disappear. Also nice toiletries were replaced with dollar store stuff.

My dad is currently in this place on a waiting list to get out ASAP. My dad has only been in here for one week and during this time he falls all the time, he cant speak and drools at the mouth (things he has NEVER done before) My dad has bruises all over and said they feed him pudding and cream corn all day and night. The website shows nice rooms with phones and Tv's and that is NOT true! The rooms are VERY small with no TV's and no phones. The furniture is run down and the beds are close together with no room between the two roommates. The staff is nice when we call but my dad says they are rough with him and make him wait because they are short staffed.

Parkmoor Village nursing staff have great care and understanding for all patients and for each other, in daily living. Their therapy department gave me a run for my money, and I gave them a run for theirs too :-). I really enjoyed my stay!!

Several of my church members have had the opportunity to receive care at Parkmoor Village and they were all treated very well. The staff were attentive to their needs, and kind of spoiled them. Therapy is excellent and so is the food. It is very clean, bright, and has a peaceful, cheerful atmosphere. I have recommended Parkmoor to several people and will continue to recommend to anyone looking for the best care!!

I had a close friend who had the misfortune of having to stay here for a while until she fell. Then they dumped her into a nursing home you wouldn't put your dog in. Finally she had an ambulance bring her to my home thank goodness, The horrible things she tells me about Parkmoor Village would make your skin crawl.

Overall, this facility is a great place. I came her for therapy after breaking my hip, and this is my second stay. My first stay was great. the doctor, therapy, and staff helped me heal better than before, so I came back again! They help me when I need help and the therapy is excellent! I've never had a problem that I couldn't go to them directly, and have them fix it! I would recommend Parkmoor!

A HUGE thank you to Parkmoor Village for being so attentive and providing such excellent care! I had an opportunity to taste the quality food and it was phenomenal! I think it's wonderful how they can accommodate so many different diets, while still providing great tasting meals! Thank you Parkmoor for all that you do to consistently be a faculty that puts the residents first!

I have several family friends who are current guests at Parkmoor Village. The community is very clean and smells fresh (unless someone has recently had an accident or has been changed). The staff are very caring, compassionate, and attentive to the residents/guests there. They address them by name and really know them. The guests seem happy and are often engaged in some type of daily activities. The community is beautiful and the food is GREAT (I have tried it on many occasions)!! I have had family friends who stayed here for rehab after being discharged from the hospital, and the rehab is top notch!!! I recommend Parkmoor often and will continue to!!

Parkmoor Village Healthcare Center was referred to me by his doctors. It is close to where I live so I can check in everyday on him. Everything is fine. They are very accommodating. They have all types of activities; they have games, bingo night, and movie night, and they bring food in for them.

Before my friend passed away, she was in Parkmoor Village Healthcare Center. It was just a standard nursing home. They had a physical therapy room with a physical therapist on staff; however, there was no outside facility where my friend could walk. The staff seemed to be very helpful and very nice. My friend didn't like the food though, that's why I brought her food. She was on a special diet and she didn't get that from them. They just gave her the generic menu and that was all she got. She couldn't eat that. Regarding security, I didn't see any security at all. Anyone could come in and go.
Highly Disappointed

My family member is here at the moment. I am trying desperately to change this at this time. First off let me say Myra the Director is a nice woman, and seems to have things under control when she is there, key word being there!! She is hardly ever there, and when she isn't there working, the staff sits around while lights are going off on sometimes 5 to six rooms.. and this is the first floor alone. We have tried to attend activities on the 2nd and 3rd floors, like Bingo, but the smell of urine and feces is so over powering we had to leave. While trying to play Bingo one of the workers I believe names Amy running the game was pretty rude and nasty to one of the older women there. She told her to hush up more than once.. I think it would have been more appropriate to take her out of the area back to her room than sit there and yell at her. I have found some sweet caring people there but for the most part they are rude, and uncaring. They should take heed to the fact that someday.. they may end up in a home and be treated the same way. Two nurses in particular start out being nice but turn nasty are Amanda and Alice on the first floor. I found them to be uncaring in most cases. Most of the CNA's sit around in the hall away from the view of the front desk and the Directors office. They are also slow getting meals out, and most of them smell of smoke,, and I never see them wash their hands when they enter or leave the room.

The people who work there are all on a "power trip". Noone should be cared for by these people anytime, anywhere, ever. They made my skin crawl. I would'nt let these people babysit a dead tuna.
