My husband is at Adara Living. I like the fact that they update or call me if there's an issue. So, the communication is really good. The staff has always been cordial to me. I haven't heard any complaints from my husband about them. I haven't tasted the food, but my husband hasn't complained much. He just said, "It's all right." The cleanliness is good. The structure of the building is fine. I saw that there are a lot of veterans there and my husband's a veteran, too. They kind of watch football games together and stuff like that. The size of the rooms are typical. He has a roommate, but he still has his own space.

Broomfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a good place. The nurses are very friendly and nice and has been really willing to work with us as far as the various care that my dad needs. He gets hospice care as well as the regular nursing care. The staff has been very friendly, very helpful, and keeps me up-to-date. He is in a shared room, but they have private rooms. They have activities for the residents like church services, a Black Jack game, and bingo. The staff is really good. He hasn't complained about the food. The layout isn't great because it's hard for him to get into the bathroom in a wheelchair, but otherwise the rooms are about normal in regards to other facilities that I've looked at size wise.

I recently had my mother at this facility. She was not doing well upon admitting here, but when she left she was back to her old self. The staff were all very attentive and caring. The therapists were able to motivate her and get her walking again. I truly am thankful for this facility.

Horrific experience there. One year later still having nightmares. Forgetful, neglectful staff, and it was not clean. They did not shower or bath my dad and they were forgetful with his medicines.. I feel terrible for the people that are there without anyone to come and check in on them. They promised everything but delivered on nothing. We ended up getting my dad out of there right away. Horrible, horrible experience, as I said, nightmares.

The staff at Broomfield Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center help respond to the concerns of the family and to try to help my dad to adjust to where he is. I think they are caring staff. I think the food is average, and my dad is not thrilled about it. The cleanliness is average too. They’re doing what they can, but they don’t have enough staffing.

My Mom (97 years old) came from Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette for rehab her following a below the knee amputation. She received the finest care I could expect: all staff, nurses, therapists, CNAs, Doctor and Social Worker were kind, caring, got to know her and love her. The food was outstanding, and when she was discharged to go home, she felt kind of wistful leaving. She made many friends, and was treated with dignity, love and attention by a very dedicated, well-trained and committed staff.

My uncle ended up in rehab at Broomfield Skilled Nursing. They didn’t shower or change him, so we were going up and changing him. I wouldn’t recommend that place to anybody. He hated the food. The staff was not very caring at all.
