Cherry Creek Nursing Center is an OK place. The therapists and the staff were very aware and accommodating to the residents. It's an older place, and I never witnessed a lot of resident-therapist interaction. It is a decent place, and my mom-in-law is comfortable there. I've gotten lost there many times. The dining area is right in the middle, and to get from one area to the other, you have to cut through the dining room.

My mom lives here. Been there for a few years. She is well taken care of. The staff alerts me with any changes and are informative. She likes the food and all the activities.

Cherry Creek Nursing Center offers Medicare, Medicaid, and regular insurance. I think it is clean, and when you are in a private room, the nurse's ratio to patients is better. When you move in to a Medicaid room, the facilities are crowded, but I think this is common after looking at other locations, I also don't think the nurse ratio is very good, and there seems to be a lot of turnover in nurses. My mother is happy there. The food is good or, at least, good for her. The big meals are at lunch time and breakfast, and then dinner is lighter so it is balanced. The staff members are very friendly and very nice.

Mom is in a waiting list at Cherry Creek Nursing Center. We've chosen this facility because the employees were very attentive to her needs. The residents seemed happy there. My mother has Alzheimer's so their activities didn’t matter to me, but I really like the atmosphere of the place. The staff are very upbeat and very pleasant. They were informative and they were also very caring. Their rooms are spacious and I think they just do have enough room. Outside they have different little rooms, like you can sit in a library-like area. I saw patients sitting around talking with each other and I did not see a lot of staff.

THE SHORT TERM REHAB CENTER IS CLEAN, WARM, AND THE ROOMS ARE ALL PRIVATE HERE. THERE ARE TVS FOR THE FOLKS AS WELL AS SOME WITH SLIDING DOORS TO GO OUTSIDE AND SIT. THAT IS A BLESSING FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE WHEN IN REHAB. THE PHYSICAL THERAPY STAFF IS THE BEST ! THE STAFF IS KIND, BUT THE PLACE COULD USE A FEW MORE FOLKS TO HELP-AS USUAL FOR SHORT TERM REHAB, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ~~

My father was in Cherry Creek Nursing Center for about a day and a half. The secured dementia unit itself was not clean. The patients were not wearing clean clothes. They were wandering the hall and I'm well aware that dementia patients wander the hall, but it didn't seem they weren't being engaged or cared for in my opinion. The staff seemed flustered. They also seemed like they were uneducated in how to care for my father. When my dad had his breakdown, they didn't anticipate that somebody with Sundowner's would have transition issues. They should be prepared for that. The doctor that I dealt with at that time was very rude and inappropriate. He was very sarcastic with me on the phone telling me that if he had won the lottery, he would make the perfect nursing home. I had told him that the place where my dad was previously said that my father needed more freedom and more room for him to move around. And he said, "Well, I guess I could see about having a barbed wire fence for them, so they could go wherever they wanted." I could not believe that a doctor was speaking to me that way!

It was nice and clean. The staff was nice. The rooms were nice, but they were small with a bed and a nightstand.

Mom is in Cherry Creek and I am not happy. She didn't get the kind of care that she is supposed to be getting. The biggest complaint that we have is that lately she has a new nurse every day, unlike when we first placed her there she always have the same nurses, the same CNAs. Sometimes, they will elevate her bed and then they won't put her back down and she had a bad back and bad legs. Sometimes they will put her feet up really high and she's almost like a "V". We also asked them a lot of times to keep her tray table close by her so she can reach it. Half the time, there were no beverages or the tray is so far away that she can't reach it.
