In the past couple years my mother has been to advanced health care of Aurora to separate times to aid in her healing while becoming stronger and independent through their fabulous physical therapy and occupational therapy program. They were absolutely fantastic and both times she was there she felt cared for and loved. Both times I went to visit her extensively and was able to join her to view her physical therapy sessions. The food is exceptionally good better than where she usually lives At Brookdale. The whole set up is Great and they do a fantastic job. I feel their physical therapy and occupational therapy a rigorous and wonderful and really help a person get back to independence. Sincerely Andrea Heller Albershardt

Advance care "appears" to be a good place and "appears" the clients are well cared for. They are not. The care nurses are overwhelmed and understaffed. They do not do a complete job. They would wheel my mom into the bathroom, and leave her there facing a wall, without talking to her and explaining what they were dong. They would leave her there for a long time, while they attended to another client in anther room. In the meantime, my mom was cold and shivering. They did not clean her properly or at all. This resulted in a bladdr infection which became a staff infection. The RN did not know how to an IV correctly to give her fluids. They gave her a urine test on a Friday and the Dr. left without giving us the results we were told we would get the result on Monday. My mother needed antibiotics and could not wiat until Monday. She has a high fever and was eventually rushed to the hospital. DO NOT put your loved one at this facility. They put on a good front but they are horrible. Spend more than a few hours there observing what truly goes on.

Facility is nice, food does not pertain to your diet orders (nothing was low salt), not enough staff. Waited for a long time for staff to help me then they left the room 2 minutes later.

Slow response to calls for help. Was told Medicare might not pay if I left facility before they thought I should. I called Medicare. Not true. Very unethical.

The people who took care of my father at Advanced Health Care were very nice. If you needed something, they were there right away. The food was nice. It was a really nice place but the doctors weren't very good and it was just too far for us.

I recently spent 4 weeks at this facility and found everything awesome: the physical facility was well maintained, the décor and furnishings attractive and the food plentiful, varied and quite tasty. The staff was outstanding and always responsive. The therapists were all very professional and knowledgeable. The patients who were discharged while I was there left with mixed emotions - happy to be going home and sad to leave AHC and new found friends. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab therapy!

Advanced Care of Aurora did a fantastic job with my 84 year old mother, who broke her hip and needed a rehab-only place. First of all, the place is light, spacious, pretty--aesthetically uplifting. The grounds are well maintained and there are nice spaces for visitors to sit, inside and outside the facility. There is free wifi. My mother, who is fairly particular about her care, had no complaints about the staff; indeed, she was uniformly very positive about everyone. The care was professional, attitudes were upbeat and constructive, and she never complained about people not responding to her calls for help or information. The facility takes Medicare and is located in an area of Aurora that is fairly easy to get to.

Advanced health Care is the wonderful!! The people, the staff, the care you get is terriffic made me change my mind about therapy and health care facilities. I was patient at AHC for 20 days in January 2012, and I have never gotten the care in a hospital that I did at AHC. And their home care nurses and Therapist are so caring and willing to help anyway they can. I had a great experience at AHC and would recommend it to everyone needing Therapy either in Hospital or as home health care!!!
