My dad was a resident here for almost a year. When we had to place him in assisted living/memory care, we originally chose Wildwood Canyon Assisted Living. The rooms were larger, they had activities, the facilities looked nice. But my dad didn't like it there. While celebrating his birthday, friends told us about Holy Hill and how great it was for their mother. We originally eliminated Holy Hill from consideration because it didn't look all that inviting from the outside. But based on the recommendation, we made a visit to Holy Hill and were immediately impressed with Mary, the primary care-giver, and her family team. As soon as there was an opening, we moved my dad and he was so much happier! Mary got him off his meds (that kept him sleepy and easy to manage) and integrated him into the family community. He formed a tight bond with the 2-year-old daughter who would climb on his lap and look out for him. He got to help with chores around the house which gave him a purpose and satisfaction. The family environment was so much better for my dad that the institutionalized place he was in before. When he had health issues that put him in the ER, Mary came down to check on him. She is a strong advocate and truly cares about those in her charge. I only wish we had picked this place first. My dad would have had two better years at the end of his life instead of just the one year with Mary. He received great care at Holy Hill and Mary made it so much easier to leave him in assisted living. Even after his death, Mary is still a part of our lives.

Holy Hill Home Care East was a clean home, roomy, and there was not a lot of clutter. Two rooms share a bathroom, but they each have their own toilet, and it's pretty accommodating. I met the owner/operator, and she seemed quite open and friendly. Their living area was a large TV room, it was very open, and the kitchen was next to it.

The woman who runs Holy Hill Home is the mother, her husband lives there, and their three kids and all of their patients live in one house. One big house, no outside help. The rooms were very small, and they only had one available.

Holy Hill Home Care East had outstanding service, and they took care of my mother-in-law. They were excellent. The couple there -- Mary and Nick -- was outstanding. It was by far the best, and I would recommend Mary and her family for Holy Hill. They are outstanding people. I would recommend them to anybody, and they gave my mother-in-law the best care up until she passed. They went way beyond, and putting her at Holy Hill gave my husband the first relief we've had in years. I can't say enough about them, and Mary was outstanding. They are a loving and caring group, the husband and wife team was outstanding, and it's just a really nice situation.
