Extremely rude and unprofessional staff and ownership. I called the facility one night to speak to my grandfather , and an employee answered as she was yelling at one of the residents. The employee put the phone down while I was still on the line and all I heard was her constant yelling at the poor resident who was in distress. The food they provide is all frozen and processed, not nutritious at all. When my grandfather passed, an employee lied and claimed he was sleeping. The owner then proceeded to tell another family member of mine in a cruel way that my grandfather had died three hours ago. No compassion, no sympathy. They don’t provide activities or amenities for the residents. The workers will just be on their phones and gossip amongst themselves. This facility does not care for their residents, only the money they are receiving from the family member who put them in there. I would NEVER put a family member in the care of this facility.

Garden of Eden Assisted Living is a private home. We chose it because Mom could have her own room, and it was affordable. Every else was too expensive to even share a room. Her room is great. She has her own room with a recliner chair in there so she could be transported. She has to be in a Hoyer to get transported. It's really good. I have no complaints. My mom loves the staff. They're wonderful, and they give her plenty of attention. There are no activities, but the food is fine. She doesn't complain, and she's real picky. They go out of their way for her. It was her birthday and they bought her whatever she wanted. They went to In-N-Out. They acknowledge things like that. They're really good. She's right in the mind, but she can't get out of bed, so she gets bedridden care. She has to be changed and bed bathed. It's very clean, and the residents are happy and friendly. The staff is very friendly. It's all good.
