St. Thomas Retirement Center and Assisted Living

My mother moved into St. Thomas Retirement Center and Assisted Living. It is an excellent place. It's the cleanest place and very organized. Excellent room. She has a studio. Everything is excellent, I have nothing bad to say about it. She's been eating well. They have exercises and games. They have a big room where they do the activity. The dining area is clean. They have a rose garden in the center of the complex. The communication has been great. They have a van for those that can't go to appointments.

My father will be moving to St. Thomas Retirement Center and Assisted Living. I like the way that it's run and operated, it feels like the people think of it as a vocation rather than a job. I think the care is going to be better and the environment is very homey and warm. They have a room for exercise, they have an open and large living room where they can gather on couches and watch TV, they have a nice internal court between the two long corridors of rooms, there's an outside court, and there's a chapel for mass.

St. Thomas Retirement Center and Assisted Living is an older place, it was clean, and the people I met were nice. It was a little bit overpriced for what they had. It didn't seem like they had a lot of amenities, but they did play games and things like that. I think I saw a one-bedroom apartment, which was kind of like a studio, and then I saw where they ate. They showed us the grounds. It was furnished, but everything was older. The staff members I met were very nice.

My parents like St. Thomas Retirement Center; they're happy there. The room is very clean and fairly large. The staff members are excellent. They are very professional and caring. It is an older establishment from the 1980s, but they're doing some remodeling. It is a very good value.
