I like Beachside Post Acute. There are a lot of activities. They all spent a lot of time with the residents in the lunchroom singing and doing puzzles. The therapy is really good. They take them for walks and all the stuff, and the place is really clean. That is one of the most important things. My stepmom prefers to be in a room by herself, but she is with somebody else. In a way, I like it because she has somebody right there. They have a place where they get together, like a little hall, and that's just really nice. They play music and they have a garden in which they take them in a wheelchair to walk outside. It's not that big. It's kind of a small place. The food is really nice and really good. I've tasted it. Most of the ladies that are there are nice. There are Filipinos, African Americans, and Latinos. As soon as you call, they call you back. So, they have good staff.

Beachside Post Acute seemed OK the first time I was there. Then when I went to bring my aunt's things and stuff, the rooms were pretty dismal and not very cheery. They were kind of dirty and old. They should probably paint the place and clean it up. They're taking her Social Security and her Medicare, so overall it's a good value, but I probably wouldn't recommend it. If you don't have any money, then you're going to get what you get; but if you have any money, I would try to choose some place that was a little bit better.

Royalwood Care Center was quite small. There was urine smell when we walked in, so I don't think it was clean.
