I liked Birds of Paradise Assisted Living, and I think my father would have been happy there. It was open, and I liked the staff. The person who assisted me was very nice, very informative, and very helpful. The dining area was communal, which I liked, but it was part of a big room, so there was an activity going on there.

I found Birds of Paradise Assisted Living to be very dark. I didn't like the atmosphere since it was not light and bright, but it was clean enough. There wasn't enough outside light coming in at 4:00 in the afternoon. I didn't have anything in particular against it. It didn't smell bad, and it wasn't dirty. The guy seemed to be knowledgeable, but I didn't think my mom-in-law would be happy there.

My grandmother has been living at the Birds of Paradise Home in Temecula for about 2 years. The first time I visited her I could tell she was very happy and she was socializing with many of the other people living there. She told me that the best thing about Birds of Paradise Home is that they have good food. I still visit her often and I can tell she is being taken good care of. The staff there is always very polite and respectful. The Birds of Paradise Home has a large living space which allows my grandmother to have a sense of individuality, however at the same time I don't worry about her being lonely because of the amount of friends she has made since she started living there. Because of the staff and facilities provided for my grandmother I do not worry about her living at the Birds of Paradise Home.
