My uncle just moved into Nazareth Agua Caliente Memory Care. It is a beautiful old stone building. It's very clean. Every staff member that I encountered (both move-in day and the day I visited) were kind and helpful. They've already made a care plan for him and tried to get him very involved in activities. They are trying to help him not to be so anxious about being in a new place. He played lawn bowling. They have bingo and watched movies in a shared space to get him out of the room. They also have several lovely chairs and tables set up outside under some shade. The grounds really are lovely. I'm very happy so far. I've only been there for two meals and one was like a Chinese food. It smelled very good. The second meal didn't look so appetizing, but my uncle (who is sometimes a picky eater) ate it all.

Speech therapy services are provided by trained and certified speech-pathologists. A visiting nurse is available to all residents. We always have a doctor on call to handle adjustments in medication, continued consultation, and urgent medical needs when they arise. Our residents can schedule reminders and exceptions for both medications and care activities. On-site hospice care is provided. Our community offers respite care - a short-term stay at a senior living community - perfect for those recovering from a hospital visit, the interim during which a caregiver takes an extended vacation, or simply to experience a senior living trial period. This community provides medication administration.
