My sister is in Simi Valley Residential Care. It has everything that is necessary, and they are giving her the diet that she needs. There are only three residents right now, so the two caregivers can see to everybody’s needs, including my sister’s. She is getting her physical therapy there and has a home-health nurse coming every day. She is able to get around in her wheelchair once she can get the staff to put her in her wheelchair and get out of her room and communicate with the rest of the residents. She is much more able get around in this home. They have puzzles and games and things that the patients can do. It is very clean and very orderly, and it seems to be very adequate for the size. The people had been gracious and very cooperative to work with us, and my sister is not an easy patient.
