I visited this facility

I toured Twin Lakes Manor. It was just a small place, and I liked it. It was very clean. The residents looked cared for and content. The person who gave me the tour was very friendly and gave me a thorough tour. I liked the grounds. There's a great big back patio that's all enclosed, so it's very secure. Overall, I had a good impression. The staff would just smile as I walked by. I didn't see organized activities at the time, but I saw a woman getting her nails done. They don't have a bus taking people out to places. I believe it's licensed for 12, but they only had about 6 residents at the time. So, it's very quiet. It's just more of a residential house, but it's a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. So, it's secluded and safe.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My 92-year-old mom moved into Twin Lakes Manor in early 2020. With their consistent quality care, she has improved dramatically with increased appetite, improved cognitive ability, and expanded activity. From the beginning, I feel that the care team is like a family and that Twin Lakes Manor is like a home. They genuinely care about my mom and her quality of life. They have been extremely careful with covid-19 protocols while still allowing me to visit with my mom, which I greatly appreciate. I know my mom is safe there and she is comfortable and happy with the care she receives. I have a good relationship with the management and staff and feel that we are a team in caring for my mom. Twin Lakes Manor is the perfect solution for our family's needs.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I had a parent there for 6 months. They were neglectful, careless, and ignored my parent. He ended up in the hospital for 4 days because of the neglect. He was dehydrated, covered in bed sores, malnourished. The hospital recommended he not return. it was a very disappointing and horrible experience.
