This is the worst place! They lost my mom's clothes! put her in man's sweat pants that were donated and a t-shirt! shes a lady that was degraded and ignored by the upper management and staff that won't return phone calls. I called 8 times within 30 minutes with no answer on a Saturday. I could hear them picking up the phone and laughing just before hanging up! Please look elsewhere to place your loved ones.

I am son of my mother who is 85 years old Alzheimer and currently residing at nursing care home in since 2012. The staffs at the facility was having a hard time understanding her when they attempted to communicate with her. I dont have a problem understanding her however I need request ASL(America sign language ) interpreter whatever I explain to primary care physician what she needs but every time i request interpreting service.the service. I need interpreting service for interdisciplinary team conferences. that facility has broken code and cannot afford to pay interpreter. I have been ask social workers many times but they seems avoid me request ASL interpreter. They missed our meeting appointment without my authorized and had been reschedule. without my authorized report Also I did requested interpreter for dentist and doctor appointment but they never make it cause miscommunication me and my mother. .They don't follow ADA (American disability act)has been 24 hours interpreting service. They don't think that interpreting service is necessary In another words, they "dismissed me and ignored my right and access to effective communication according to the ADA. I am entitled to know the status of her condition and informed consent.PCP and the facility communicated with my mother while I was there but without an interpreter every time. It seems they don't think that interpreting services is necessary It has been a very frustrating and stressful experience for me .I am really sad. ADA advisor did explained them again and again but wont listen us Not fair to another foreign interpreters on their on their lists without ASL interpreter. It has been on going on for 4 years now. There is a hugh communication barrier for me with the facility's staffs

She stayed in Country Villa for three weeks. The stay was OK. It was good. There was nothing much you could do except stay in bed, but to me it was good, and they were very nice. It is an old facility, and it could be updated. The room she got is a regular room, and it is OK. The staff is very nice, although sometimes when she pushed to get help, they don't respond right away. I think it is because they don't have enough staff in place. They have activities over there like bingo and church. They have certain things going on. I only attended the bingo while my mother-in-law really likes the church. She only attended the bingo once, and they never took her back in the three weeks she was there. I think she needed to say something. She didn't care for the food at all.

The only reason I'm giving this facility even one star (I'd prefer to give them zero) is the fact that they have nice hardwood floors. That's the absolute ONLY good thing I can say about the place. When my mother-in-law was recently released from an acute care hospital, she was transferred to Country Villa Plaza to stay for a week or so until she was well enough to go home. When she first arrived at Country Villa, she was put into a room where there was a man's urinal on the floor that was filled with urine, and there were dirty adult diapers on the floor next to the bed where they placed her. Nobody bothered to clean the room and they left her there for about an hour until I arrived and complained to the staff and urged them to move her to a clean room. During the next couple of days, they screwed up her medications (giving her the wrong medications), they didn't give her the oxygen treatment that she required, they never assisted her to the bathroom, so she ended up soiling herself, and they never bathed her. I find it so disgusting that after she soiled herself on more than one occasion there, nobody bothered to bathe her! She was in that facility for only five days, and now she's in Intensive Care at an acute care hospital due to the wrong treatment she received at Country Villa Plaza! When she entered that facility, she was on the road to a quick recovery, and after only several days in their care, she's back to square one, fighting off a serious infection because they didn't give her the correct medications, and actually gave her a medication that could have dire consequences with her condition! The doctor in ICU at the hospital got the records from Country Villa Plaza and actually confirmed that it was their horrible care that put her in such a critical state. So, to anyone reading this -- if you're considering putting one of your loved ones in this facility -- DON'T DO IT! RUN (DON'T WALK) AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!
