My mother is in Westborough Manor. It's more individual care there and like a family setting. There are six residents and three caregivers. When they can they do meals together, but they're still in "pandemic mode." When it's not a pandemic, though, they share meals in the dining room, and they have activities. It is a friendly place and it's a very clean facility. They're kind of holding back right now because of the pandemic, but my dad stayed in one of their facilities, and they had a lot more activities when there wasn't a pandemic -- and they're hoping to bring them back. But meanwhile, they're being so kind. They read to my mother because she can't see her books or her magazines anymore. They have a nice big backyard, and they take her for a walk. They check on her, or just sit and talk with her. We go over all the time and we play cards, chat, and do things. It's more expensive than the others but it's worth it. She really likes her caregivers. They used to have a guy who came in every day and did exercises and chair exercises. They used to have football nights, they used to have movie days where everyone was in front of the TV, and they had barbecues in the backyard, but they can't do that until the pandemic is safer. Visiting is also restricted. They're being wonderfully careful about the pandemic.
