My father was in the hospital, and they recommended Roseville Point. Some staff members are good, and some are not good. The food started off good, then went downhill, but the presentation is not bad. It's pretty expensive, but it's a better place than others I've seen out there.

After touring a handful of nursing homes for my loved one, I was thankful to finally stumble upon Roseville Point. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and they are more than accomidating. The nursing staff could not have been more helpful transitioning my grandma from her home to a room with roommates. I highly recommend this place.

My wife was in Roseville Point for about a week and her stay wasn't that bad. They had a little organizational problem with medication as they weren't set up to get the patient's meds in the same day. They didn't get her medicines for two days and it caused a real problem because she was dependent on two of those medicines. Otherwise I think they did quite good.

My mother was self-admitted into a nursing home in February 2010. This nursing home was run more like a mental institution rather than an elderly care facility. People would be left screaming in the hallways, in their rooms or outside which would set off a chain reaction with other residents. My mother, who was of sound mind was housed with less able individuals which caused her mental and emotional status to decline. The facility itself was kept as a hospital rather than a homely feeling that would make patients calm. Although some of the staff was very polite, I feel that they just tuned out everything that was going on around them. I would highly recommend a handful of nurses/staff to move on into a better facility. I had no doubt my mother was being cared for well physically but her emotional status deteriorated in such an environment.I worked diligently to move her to another facility but with a 9 month waiting list, this was the best place that the county would put her into. I feel that nursing homes of this caliper should be sectioned off as per the needs of the patients. Some who just 'need' assistance should be in one section with others of their own willingness and as others. It should be bright, cheery and more like a 'home' rather than their last place before their passing.
