My mom is at 3Fairwinds Ivey Ranch. I think we're going on our 2nd month there. They're taking very good care of my mom. They are so helpful and wonderful. They call me anytime if there's something that I need to know; they're on the phone telling me what's going on so I like that too. She loves the food. It is on lockdown, you can go and pick up your loved one and then bring them back, but you can't go inside so we didn't go and see the dining areas; I've only seen her apartment. It's a 1-bedroom and one of their smaller ones I guess, but it seems spacious to me for her. Everything is updated; it's a full kitchen, you have the oven, stove, big refrigerator, and a lot of space in the kitchen. It's a really nice place. She says she likes it. They do everything. They play music for them, they have arts, and they have a whole list of things. My mom hasn't been doing any of that stuff. They do exercise by the door I think on Monday, she said. I've been having a hard time getting her out and about to, but she's still having a hard time with that because my dad passed away in July but we're getting there. I go and I can walk around the grounds with her. They have a sidewalk that goes all the way around the building. Then I'll go and she'll come out, and we'll just do a little walk. People are very friendly there. When I come to pick her up, I have to pick her up at the front, there's a big fountain there, and she'll be talking to people. They have a lot of activities. It's just my mom doesn't do them all. I love them. It's not as expensive as the other community.

I chose Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch. It's fantastic. I went up there and I visited and they invited me to lunch and I signed a check that day. I had a full tour, I had lunch, and I met the general manager, the activities director, and the medical director. The other thing I liked about this place is that if you need assisted living, they don't move you out of your apartment. They come to you. I have a one-bedroom. It's all been repainted and I have brand new carpeting and I have a mini kitchen. The community layout is wonderful. I've only been to my wing. I haven't been to the other one yet, but it's quite a large facility. They have multiple floor plans. I took a girlfriend up and we never saw a frown. We were greeted by every staff member we passed in the hallway. I've been up there twice for lunch, and I took possession two days ago, and I can go up there and participate in any activities until I move in. The food is very good. It's a restaurant-type menu. They have an executive chef and a small snack area called the bistro.

Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch was very attractive. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. You don't see people sitting around with nothing to do. The residents were interactive with each other. The food was good. I've eaten there three different times. People were playing Bridge, shooting pool, and going out. One time I was there, everybody had gone to the races. Many of the staff had been there for long periods of time, and they seemed happy. They're interacting with the residents in a friendly, pleasant way. This whole place had more interaction than any place else I've seen (the staff, the residents, the help). It's like a resort. The food was nicely served. It looked attractive and there was a variety. There were specials every day, but I believe the menu was somewhat the same in a three-month cycle. It's well-rated.

Everything was excellent. The staff, Paula, toured us around and it filled every need my in-laws are looking for. I was watching them take care with the elderly people and the services they provide. Their rooms were clean, updated, and fresh. Nothing was old. It was excellent all around.

My parents are in Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch and they are enjoying living there. Right now, the only way we can visit them is outside, while Covid is on, or we can pick them up, take them somewhere and take them back for the day and they just take their temperatures when they come back. They treat them like family. They said they give them too much food and they like the food very much. All I've been is in their 1-bedroom apartment. It is really nice with a kitchenette, stove, oven, microwave, and a nice refrigerator. They have all kinds of activities; they do Wii bowling, bingo, and they come around and they do wine and seltzer water which they bring to the apartments.

Ive had friends that lived at Fairwinds. They liked it a lot, and they remodeled the place recently. Its really pretty. I dont think they have the continuation of care. I went there for a friends 90th birthday, and they went to a lot of trouble to make it really lovely, it was very nice. I think the staff there is really good. Its a month-to-month rental. They dont have a pool, but they drive me to the Y so I can do my exercises, which was really nice. They have a calendar, they have chair aerobics, they do Bingo. They seemed happy.

My mother moved into Fairwinds. She loves it. The staff members are very nice. They take care of her. They have a lot of activities, and the tenants are nice. The food is good too. Well, everything is good. They have arts and crafts, they have bingo, they take the residents on tours, and they have concerts. The people there look happy and it looks like they're enjoying themselves. Fairwinds is very clean. My mother has a 1-bedroom apartment that has a living room and a kitchen. The room is just the right size for her. They offer different tiers. We asked for a little bit of assistance, so they pick my mother up to go to meals and then they bring her back, she gets two showers a week, they change her sheets, and they clean her room once a week. They also have a bus that will take them to doctors' appointments. The staff members are wonderful. They are helpful and they have a good sense of humor. It looks like they want to help. They're very friendly.

Fairwinds did not have many activities. It looked very dead because no one was downstairs socializing, and it was very quiet. It was centrally located and looked clean. The staff was fine.

We couldn't find anything to compare Fairwinds Ivey Ranch with, but the price is a little high. I like that they have a gym with a full-time instructor. They also have lots of activities for the residents.

Fairwinds has no buy-in cost, which is important to me. The rent is about the same as all the others. The courtyard and decor are beautiful, the grounds are perfect, the food is great, and the services are everything I need. There are card games, trips out on the bus to special places, they take me to the doctor and the doctors also comes here. There are movies and documentaries in the little theater. There really are a lot of things to do.

Fairwinds Ivey Ranch was very nice. It was a busy place although they had an activity going on -- a special 100th birthday party upstairs -- so they may have had a lot more people visiting that day. The rooms were beautiful, and I thought the activities were great. The lady who toured us was wonderful. The food was very good. It was probably the best food of any residential facility that I have been to, visiting with my mom. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and the location was good, it would be convenient for me, and they have transportation. They didn’t have a lot of outside places for people to be, and I would like to see more greenery. They had a bit of it, but not much. But then, I thought it was nice, and I was very impressed by it.

We’re living at Fairwinds-Ivey Ranch. It’s an excellent place. They have an extremely capable staff. We have so many activities. One of the things that we enjoy is bocce ball and Wii bowling. They have a way of playing bocce ball indoors also for those who don’t want to go out. We have a worship service on Sunday. We have a Scripture study on Monday nights. We have many exercise-type classes; one called body conditioning is rather strenuous. We have a balance class that I enjoy. We have Texas Hold’em and bingo. We have a discussion group, and currently, we’re having a presentation on the constitution. There is a music therapy-type class. There are several art classes and flower arranging. We have a book club that I belong to. My husband and I have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment. They have many different configurations of apartments. There are studios, 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms with 2-bath, and different sizes and configurations of all of those.

The rooms at Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch were not very nice. The building was too small, the hallways were narrow, and it was not easy to get in and out of.

The tour at the Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch was fantastic and very well done. Out of all the places that we toured, I would have preferred this place. The place was wonderful and clean, and I spent time talking with the residents. I liked that there was a coffee and pastry bar downstairs. Everything felt very open. It was the maintenance guy who actually walked up and helped me go to the person I had the appointment with. Sheila gave me the tour, was very attentive, and explained things very well. The apartment she showed me was great. The woman that was there was very sweet and very kind, and I had a very good conversation with her. They had a gym, a movie theater, and a library.

I visited Fairwinds. I was very impressed and everything was delightful, but the only thing I didn't like was the price. I was surprised at what they offered, such as a laundry room where I could do my own laundry, and I thought it was a very nice room, something I felt good going into. I liked the fact that they had a beautician there. You don't feel like you have to leave the facility in order to make yourself presentable. The location was nice with buildings close by, but you looked down on trees which made it seem like you're not quite close to civilization. Everybody there was extremely friendly and nice. The biggest problem is that they don't have any rooms available.

I visited Fairwinds Ivey Ranch. They’re outstanding. Nobody can beat them. The staff is so caring, thoughtful, on top of everything, and goes above and beyond. They invited us for a Thanksgiving dinner, and the staff had brought things for my dog and packed up a whole dinner for my husband and myself. They are just magnificent. The place is absolutely beautiful. We have visited a couple of apartments, and they’re all magnificent. The food is very good.

We went to Fairwinds Ivey Ranch. It was a really nice facility, but we thought it was too small for our needs. It had a very small physical fitness center, and we were more interested in larger facilities. They were enlarging the dining room, which was very nice. The service was great.

I liked Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch. The staff was very friendly and very competent, and the facility was well located. I get my medical care through the Veterans Administration and that big new Veterans Administration clinic is fairly close by, which was a plus for me. I visited on a Thursday afternoon during a happy hour. I like to dance, and there was a little dancing. It was a fun visit. I liked the place due to the attitude and performance of the staff as well as the facility itself.

Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch had full kitchens, and the staff was really nice. The food was good, people were friendly, and staff was involved and friendly, so we really liked this one. Lots of activities -- they have things daily, Bible studies, everyone's taken a trip to the Oceanside Harbor, and this was the only place that had that, which seemed really nice; they really seem to take advantage of the fact that they are close to the beach.

The Fairwinds was a little too hustle bustle and noisy. They were going to be starting some remodeling, so that might have contributed to it. It just didn't seem as settled down as the other place was. I had lunch with the coordinator, and it was very good. She was very nice. There were sections that you couldn't go to because they were starting remodeling. It was more expensive, and the parking was very difficult. It was just too noisy and too much activity going on. I want some activity, but I don't want it so busy that it causes confusion.

Fairwinds is a spectacular and beautiful facility; it looks a lot like a hotel. I would highly recommend them. They’re not equipped to deal with memory issues and people who have substantial or serious ongoing medical issues. They are equipped to deal with people who have minor medical needs like medication. They can provide assistance with basic life activities as well. The rooms are terrific; the food is very good. You can have pets there. They do lots of things with the residents, and I think they're very reasonably priced. It’s a wonderful option for people who are still somewhat active. I told my kids when I get to a point where I need some help, I’d be very happy to be there.

Fairwinds was very nice, but it was much more expensive than I could afford. The person who accommodated me was very professional, helpful, and nice. The rooms were like the others that I have visited. They were OK and enough for one person. The place was nice and clean. They have activities like bingo and some other games. The people looked happy. It was a friendly place. The reason why I cannot give them a high rating is because they were on a busy street, and they did not have a garden or a backyard for walking. They were right in the middle of the traffic, and because of that, I would not go in there.

I have friends that live here at Fairwinds. It was very nice, and I was very impressed. The staff was very nice to me. They showed me several different apartments. We had lunch, and it was very nice. I was very impressed. I was impressed with the building, the food, and with everybody in general. The apartments were adequate. They were small but adequate for one person. The dining area is very nice. It is a large dining room, and they have plenty of help. There is a nice chef that prepares your food. They have a lot of activities. I did not take part in any of them but I saw several. I saw their calendar, and they have things going on every day of the week. There is no reason to be bored there. I have already recommended it to others. The people there are all very nice.

Mom is in Fairwinds-Ivey Ranch, and she is very happy there. She is in a 2bedroom apartment. The staff here is phenomenal, and they’re very attentive to her needs. She has medication and standby assistance for showering, and the staff is very attentive to her. I live about 40 miles away, and there have been a couple of times that I have not been able to reach her by phone, and they immediately come up to her apartment and check on her. She is socially engaged; she has two very good friends she plays cards with and socialize with. They have a good variety of food offerings. There are three meals served during the day, and she can enjoy 2/3 of the meals since that’s part of her care plan. They know the residents on a first name basis; there is very personal care. The building itself is beautiful, landscaping is to perfection, and it’s well maintained. There is limited parking for the residents. There’s a health and wellness facility, a computer lab, and there is a spa if they need to have a bath. It’s a very good facility.

Fairwinds is very luxurious. It has nice, big rooms. They have 2 big meals, and the meals seemed very nice. The menu looked very good. The dining area is very nice. They have full kitchens in every room. They do exercise in the dining room, so you have to go to their classes. They have a pretty full calendar. They have tours and discussion groups, so that is nice.

Fairwinds - Ivey Ranch is assisted living. You get your meals, your laundry is done, the maintenance and cleaning; everything is all done for you. They had nice sized rooms. I'd definitely give it a top rating – a five.

Fairwinds is in a great location and it's close to where we live. The environment looks good, it's clean, and it's just 10 years old or less. I thought it was really upper class. It looked like a Marriott Hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They answered all my questions and returned my phone calls. I thought they were very helpful.

I thought this environment was great after visiting a handful of different homes where we could possibly put my grandfather in, this one really shot out at us as soon as we walked through the doors. We were greeted by some of the staff and got a free tour, that was completely unplanned. The people working there were extremely generous which wasn't really the case for ALL the other places we visited. We also had the opportunity to go and chat with some of the other folks that had already been living there, we ran into a couple that had been there for nearly five years whom claimed they "LOVED!" the home, and best of all is the food. I was compelled to try it, so I made my way to the cafeteria of course. They had quite an extensive menu, which I thought was perfect for my picky grandfather, he'd love it here I thought, and the best part of the whole thing, was the area in which it was located. It was just 3 miles from my house, walking distance if need be, I make sure to visit him once a week now, and he's loving every minute in that place.
