I visited this facility

My dad will be moving into Manzanita Village at Rancho Belago's memory care. We just wanted him in a facility with lots of care, and it's a beautiful facility. During our tour, they were informative. We walked through the facility, and it was clean everywhere. The residents were dressed and looked clean, too. They have plenty of staff and I think they had an on-site nurse. They also seemed friendly.

I visited this facility

I am waiting for an opening in Manzanita Village at Rancho Belago. I only saw a private room. But what I saw was very clean and organized. To me, they're very caring people. They have different activities at certain times of day. Three meals a day are provided. If you have diet restrictions, they follow that, too. They have their own medical team. I am waiting for what they call a two-bedroom. I would have my own bedroom and bathroom, but I would share a living space.

I visited this facility

We toured Manzanita Village at Rancho Belago, and that place looked like a resort. It was beautiful. Elderly people live there and they can come and go as they please. And there's a lockdown facility for the memory care patients as well. upon entering it and entering the reception area, it looked like a resort. The facility is big. I was impressed with them. Manzanita Village is a little bit closer. But the lady that would give the tours had just gone to lunch, and we didn't have time. My aunt was in the car and she was getting restless, so, we had to take her back home. It's so huge, and my uncle felt like he would get lost here. And for me to just drop my aunt off here, I think I would get lost. Not that anything was wrong with the place. I thought it was like a five-star resort. And it was diverse where there were people who could come and go and who had more mobility. The memory care facility was at the back of the place. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to go back and tour the whole place. But the first impression was, 'Wow.' I would have chosen Manzanita personally, but my uncle, it was too much for him. He wasn't used to such a large scale. He felt it was kind of overwhelming. They were very helpful. We explained what our needs were. The reception girl explained everything. We saw another staff, and she was very friendly and had worked there for a long time. She said, 'I love my job. The staff here is great. I feel like I have a personal rapport with all my patients. I love my patients.'

My mother moved to Manzanita Village at Rancho Belago. It's a very nice facility. Population size wasn't as large as some of the others and price was a factor. She is in memory care. Her room is nice and adequate. The staff was very likable and they were engaged to the residents. Their people are appropriate for the industry. She's eating three meals a day, so she likes the food. I like their staff, too. She's participating in the activities. After shopping around, I think they are fairly priced.

My mother is in Manzanita Village Senior Living. It's been great. We chose them because they had availability. They were clean, friendly, and it's close to our house. It's very clean and well kept. I liked it. She really likes their food. It always smells good when we visit with her. They do daily activities, board games, and they have people come in and play guitar. They do family gatherings and they're having a Thanksgiving lunch on Friday. They seem to do a lot. The staff has been really helpful. I haven't had any issues. She seems to like doing some of the activities.

My relatives moved into Manzanita Village Senior Living. When I walked in there, I could tell it was a little bit more well-maintained. The place was nice. The staff who gave us a tour was a sweetheart. She went above and beyond trying to make sure that they got taken care of. The public facility where they eat looks nice and classy. It looks like something out of the old black-and-white, cocktail lounge where the seniors are. They explain some of the activities and stuff like that. For the most part, it seemed like the people were well looked after.

Mom moved to Manzanita Village Senior Living and our experience has been wonderful. I like the place. I love it. There hasn't been anything bad about the place at all. It's clean. It's well run and well taken care of. All the staff are very pleasant and seem to enjoy their job. They have a lot of activities and different things that they do with the residents. This past Thursday, they had a senior prom where they had a prom king and queen, a dance dinner, and a DJ. It was pretty fun. I had a meal there and it was great. I had steak and potato and asparagus. Of course, Mom got to eat for free. I paid $10 for my plate, but it was delicious. Manzanita Village Senior Living is one of the cheaper facilities. It's excellent. They're welcoming and it's a great place to put your loved one.

I visited this facility

We visited Manzanita Village Senior Living. I liked the environment, the rooms, and the space. It was so nice, clean, and calm. The staff was really nice. I walked around, and one thing I always look for is to see how the clients look. They were all happy. I caught them before lunch time, and they were gathering together. They were just smiling all the time and saying, "Oh, you're going to like it here." That's what caught my attention. The staff that gave us the tour was really nice. She was very kind, understanding, and very patient. We walked around the whole facility with her. If we had any questions, we could ask. We had a meal there. We went during the lunch time. It was really nice. The setting was very homey and very family-like. The tables were nice. It didn't look like a high school cafeteria. It was round tables and more than one person could sit there. Someone would come to you, and they would take your order. They would come back to bring you what you needed. They always had substitutions. It was really nice because even if we were waiting for our food, they still would come around and ask if someone had taken care of you already.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband stayed at Manzanita Village Senior Living for 14 days. I liked the privacy of the room that he had. I was concerned though about the staffing because it seemed a little bit inadequate and maybe not as well trained as they should have been, kind of young and inexperienced. The facility was great, but the staff was lacking. They take him down to the main building and they would have music. I had observed others who were there with no family and it seemed like they were just sitting a lot. Sometimes, there wasn't enough activity going on.

I went here yesterday. My grandmother said she liked it. It was just super clean and they were really helpful. They were super nice by five and a concern overrating for this place. Everything my grandma wanted was there. She was looking for a community room. It's close to us, to a hospital, and restaurants. It's like in the middle of town.

We visited in Moreno Valley. We looked at assisted living. Their facilities were excellent, but Mom just didn't feel comfortable wanting to be living that far out. The staff was very friendly. The physical facility was just a little more isolated than the others. I actually thought it was the nicest but just too isolated for Mom.

I visited this facility

I was here at a time when I think the staff was down, because it was like late on a Saturday, 5:30 or so. I didn't get a good picture, but it looked favorable anyway, as far as the physical facility. The staff who showed me around was very good. It was kind of a spur of the moment because there was some confusion about when I was gonna be there. There's always somebody at the front desk, so that's who I spoke to. The rooms were very nice. I saw the memory care. They had quite a bit of activities. They had a dining area, but the wing that I went through was just being opened, and there was hardly any resident there.

We put our mother here. It's immaculately clean, airy, open, has lots of light, and the rooms are large, spacious, and well laid out. Their activities are wonderful. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and helpful. We ate there, and the food was good.

It is a new place. The lady who assisted me was very pleasant, and it looked like a very active community. They were about to do aerobics or Zumba while I was there, and they were running. The outside was dry, and there was nothing there, so it wasn't appealing.

I loved it. It was beautiful! The tour was wonderful, and the place was nice. I loved the way it was set up and arranged. The guy that I talked to was really nice and thorough. I was pleasantly pleased with everything.

I went to see the community. They had a group of people out front playing Bocce ball, they’ve got a wall of fame for all the veterans that are there, and they take care of all the veteran benefits that we have. We went around to see their little theater, but the rooms were entirely too small. There’s no way that I would ever move into that place. It’s nice, clean, and the lady said they only have about half a dozen vacancies. They’re so new that people are just now starting to hear about them, but for the lifestyle that I’m looking for, it wouldn’t work. It simply would not fit what I want.

My mother seems well-taken care of. I have only seen the community one time, and that was last weekend. I live out of state, so I don't get over there as often as my brother does, but he is quite pleased with the facility, and my mother is doing fine. She is in a private room, so she doesn't share the room with anyone -- or the bathroom -- and she has got a little kitchenette, so everything is pretty much there for her. If she wants to stay in her room, she can. If she wants to get out, she can. They have all kinds of activities. They have Bingo several times a week, a movie theater -- several films every week -- Church, exercise, different games, and outdoor activities like barbecues. They really try to keep their residents happy. My mother is not a very social person, so she doesn’t join in a great deal, but she is doing fine. Their dining area is very nice. It is quite large, very light, airy, and very nice. I spent a bit of time in there, and it seemed that everybody enjoyed their time dining there. They have a menu, so they don't have to have the same thing every day if they don’t want to, and they have choices for all three meals. It seems very nice and secure. It is a fairly new facility, so there's not a lot of wear and tear, but it is clean.
