My husband was at Westmont Village for respite. It was very good. He said it was like being on a cruise ship. There were people he met. There were lots of activities. They personally were keeping up and taking care of him, checking to see if he needed things and stuff. His room was very nice sized. It had everything he needed there. The food was good and had a lot of variety. The staff was very courteous and nice. I know they had bingo, Mexican dominoes, art classes, exercise classes, movies, and different bible study groups. I know they had a luau while he was there one night. They had lots of different things to participate in. They had a library where he could go read the paper and stuff every day.

Me and my wife toured Westmont of Riverside. It certainly looked like it would meet all of our needs. The biggest factor in choosing to settle at Westmont is the proximity of the place to our daughter. It looked very good. I think the one feature that we were attracted to was that it did have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The person who toured us was very charismatic and she answered all of our questions, a very pleasant young lady.

Westmont of Riverside was a very nice, very friendly, well-maintained facility, and that would be a possibility when we're ready. We went to the big multistory building, not the individual homes. It had beautiful grounds. It was a very attractive building. Everybody was very, very nice. In the dining room, there might have been 35 or 40 people getting a mid-morning snack or something, waiting for perhaps the lunch to begin. Everybody was very, very courteous and accommodating. Robin took quite a bit of time to explain everything and do the tour. We saw the two-bedroom unit and the one-bedroom unit and they're very attractive and very lovable. The staff was very nice, very friendly, and accommodating. We had a cup of coffee and a glass of water. We saw the dining room and the menu. She explained how the menus work, and the different choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was great. They had a big covered pool, an exercise room, and a woodshop. They do various activities. They have bus service several times a week to doctor's offices, to a local grocery store, or to local shopping. They show a movie. They have large screen TVs on various walls in the facility, which tell what's going on in there. It keeps everybody up-to-date. We saw the calendar for December showing what they were doing all month long on a daily basis, which was nice because then you could choose what you wanted to do or just go down and sit in the chair and enjoy the sunshine. It's very, very nice. I was very impressed. There were lots of grassy areas and big trees. There was hardly any traffic on the various streets and roads that we drove. We drove through quite a bit of the complex just to see what was there. There were lots of walking paths. They have a dog park because when we do go to a senior living facility, we plan to take our dog and our cat.

I went to Westmont Village. I found it very clean. The only reason I chose the other one was because it's five minutes from my house. I liked all the stuff they had going. They had a little bit more to offer. The staff during the tour was great and he did a lot of follow-ups with me, too, afterwards. I don't remember any of the activities, but I like that they had a barber shop, a little cafe, and a TV like a theater and that type of stuff. I really liked it a lot.

We went to Westmont Village. The tour was OK. I wasn't very impressed with them. It was clean. I just thought it seemed more of a hospital setting instead of like a home setting. The staff during the tour was good. They were really nice and helpful. It didn't seem like they had much.

Westmont Village was a beautiful facility. There were a lot of wonderful activities. It was like being on a cruise ship. The price point was just my concern. The staff was wonderful and very kind. The facilities were all acceptable. The common spaces were beautiful. The size of the individual room was just basic, but I think that's fine for most people.

Westmont Village looked excellent. The feeling I had about the place was OK. It's just when I went and visited, the residents seemed to be lethargic maybe. It was quiet and not very active. The rooms seemed kind of generic. It was just a basic room. The place was older, almost like a hospital setting, so we had to consider that as well, but the facility was really clean. It was just basically plain.

I liked the grounds at Westmont Village. I thought they were beautiful. I liked the location, and I liked the people that showed me around. I liked how big they were there. Their full kitchen had lots of cupboards and the 2-bedroom apartment was a nice size and the front room was a nice size, too. They had a beautiful patio in each apartment. They had a nice dining area, and the food looked good.

The tour at Westmont Village went fine. It was nice, but it was a little spread out and kind of larger than what I was looking for. The room they showed was pretty nice. It was a two-bedroom with a shared bath, and the size of it was nice. People were doing different activities. They were doing like a chair yoga class and crafts in one area. The staff was very good.

Westmont Village was a beautiful facility, and the price was excellent. But it was a little bit further out of Riverside, and the facility was too big, so my uncle would literally get lost going from one place to another. It was a military base before, and it was bought out and they rebuilt it. It was gorgeous. It was private and gated. There's homes surrounding the assisted living side. It's just like a whole town. I saw the restaurant and it looked like a huge five-star restaurant. They had a room for playing cards and bingo, libraries, and a room for playing dominoes. There were several activities that you got to choose from for the day. Charlie was the one that took me around, and he was excellent.

Westmont Village is nice. It feels a little bit like a hotel in a way where when go in, there's a front desk and then there's an elevator not far away. Then if you went straight forward, there's a dining room and there's mailboxes. And if you go up the elevator, there's the wings that go up to the right and left from each floor. The landscaping is maintained, and it's beautiful. Some of the rooms would have a view that would include mountains, so that's very nice. We really like the person who helped us during the tour. She was very helpful and informative. At one point, when one of the rooms became available, she took a video of that apartment and sent it to us, so we could see it as well as the family members that weren't able to go, so that was very helpful. The staff was very responsive when we asked her questions. We looked at the menu, and it looked great. There was some music going on in the dining room. They showed us one apartment that had furniture and another one without furniture. However, it's not the newest building. It's been around a little while.

Westmont Village was too large. You had to walk through the hallways and since the rooms were on the side, it wasn't as bright and cheerful as the other facility we went to. The staff was very good though.

My husband and I moved here a year and a half ago. It was beautiful and peaceful. The residents are very friendly. But if we had known the changes that were going to take place, we would never have moved here. This has been our experience: The grounds are now not kept up (except for the streets when you first drive in). The landscaping is overgrown and just sad looking. Management does not take care of repairs. You are basically ignored or put off when you report problems. We waited a over a year to have our oven repaired. We waited 18 months to have a toilet replaced. The new toilet doesn't work properly but mgmt. is ignoring this. There has been a water leak on side of our home since we moved in and nothing is done about it. Wall is damaged on side of our home and no one cares. IF INTERNET OR TV ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU, DON'T MOVE HERE. Read other reviews that detail the issues concerning this horrible situation. The bottom line is that Westmont Village has become a sad and stressful place to live.

Westmont Village has everything. It's a nice facility. We're very happy with it. Everything was very well kept. It was built years back with the military in mind. It was a place where officers would retire, so it's built extremely well. The person who assisted us was very good. She answered our questions, and we were very happy with her. They have a bunch of activities, and they have big rooms for every activity. The rooms were very nice. They all have balconies and bigger rooms. They have refrigerators and ovens, so you can even cook in your own room. It's nice. Everybody was very friendly, too.

I have been living in Westmont Village for a while now. I like the size of the room. This is the largest two-bedroom of any I could find in town. I also like all the amenities. They have everything. They have a swimming pool, there is a spa, there is a physical therapist, and there is a gym. If you want somebody to do your laundry or empty your trash or anything like that, they have people that do that. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes food is really good and sometimes it is not as good as other times. As for activities, they come out with a sheet of every activity that they're having that day and then everything they're having that month. If you want to be, you can be constantly active with every kind of thing you can think of. They also have a chapel, and on Saturdays, they have like a happy hour. They have just everything you could think of. I think the value for money is worth it, too.

Westmont Village is a nice facility, just a little pricey. Other than that, it was nice, it's huge. I think my mom would get lost there, it's so big. If she decides to go there, they'll have someone that'll shadow her until she gets used to where everything's located. It can be overwhelming because it's really large. They have a lot of amenities to offer. It's like a world within itself. They have everything that a person could need or want. I was shocked at how big it was, and it's well-maintained like it is. I think it's worth it. It's a little pricey, but I'm at it. It's a great place, I think. They showed us everything except for the memory care. We didn't need to see that. The staff is very knowledgeable of what they had to offer. Even though he had been there a short period, he's only been there a short time, but he knows everything that they had offered. He was able to answer any questions that we have or concerns. They have a stove and microwave. I'm surprised that they have stoves in there. They have a swimming pool, exercising, and they even have fitness therapists to work with people with leg and joint pains, stuff like that.

I think Westmont Village is pretty good. They have a place for woodwork and sewing. There's also a pool for those who want exercise. I'm in their independent living. The staff is very helpful and they have excellent food.

I visited Westmont Village. I like it because of the independence, and everything was right there on the property. So, if you need to hire somebody for cleaning, you could do that. If you kind of needed someone for skilled care or respite care, that was available. It was close within the vicinity of our Kaiser Permanente. The staff is a five, especially Kristen, she was very helpful. The rooms were average. We were recommended by a friend, and they stayed there as well and enjoyed it. We went over there looking at them. They had a combination of things. The salon was active, and there was physical therapy. There was also a game room. Even the residents that were there that were standing in the hallway were nice and spoke to you like it was nobody being stuck up into all that stuff.

One of the facilities that I visited was Westmont Village. I found it to be a beautiful community, the equal of any town or village in Southern California. It's just gorgeous with beautiful homes. It used to be Airforce Village West. They had a lot of military officers living there. Now it's got a lot of seniors, it's got apartments in there, and it's got all kinds of comprehensive care if you need it. The freestanding homes are gorgeous, and you can just live independently if you want to. I was very impressed except for a couple of things. It's too quiet. It's almost as quiet as the funeral next door. A lot of people would not consider that a flaw, but a benefit. You could hear a pin drop walking down the street. The other thing is me and my attitude. I'm going to be 80 years old in a year and a half or so, and I have no right to feel this way. But I go in there and on these tours and I'm looking around the people and it is a sea of elderly people, and I don't feel like I'm in that demographic, even though I very much am. I'm too young for that kind of a place, but I'm just going to have to get used to it. I'm probably older than a lot of those people, but I'm looking at it and I feel like I'm looking at a lot of grandpa and grandma, and I'm not one of them, but I am. So it's a bit attitude on my part. I didn't go into the memory care building, but I saw them from the outside. I mostly visited independent living and maybe assisted living. The people were very, very nice. If I were to go anywhere at this point, it would probably be Westmont Village. I thought it was a wonderful place. It's spotless. The staff is all wonderful. They were very, very nice and accommodating.

Westmont Village was definitely nice. There was plenty of parking. When you walked in, it was really beautiful. It was a very nice place. I would want to live there myself. The facilities were beautiful. The rooms were just newly remodeled, and my mom was able to get a large enough apartment that would have been perfect for her. The thing that stood out above all of the other things I looked at was that they had a four fold (instead of a three fold). It was mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. None of the other ones had the spiritual aspect of it, and they have a chapel there. This fits our needs perfectly, and that's what really made me think that was the best place. The other thing was the price. It was reasonable compared to other places. They have enough parking for a family to come, park, and get in quickly. It's beautiful coming in and you feel welcomed. There's security, and we felt good. They also had a really nice facility for memory care, which my mom doesn't need. It's just a well-rounded facility. The only downside was that it's very far away from most people in the city of Riverside. Because it's out there a ways, that also makes it a nice secluded place. It's within a gated community, so you can't just get in. It's easy for family because you just press a button and tell them where you're going; they let you in the gate. I also looked at the menu, and they gave a really good variety. You could get a diet based on what your needs are. You could order off the menu. They had a little heart healthy and then the low sodium. They had those little symbols on there that let you know. It's just a nice and very thriving community. They even had homes outside of the facility that are like 55 plus, and a lot of the people are former military (which my mom is a surviving spouse of a vet). Everything about it was really nice.
