Carmelo Park is a smaller community, so they have an easier time providing one-on-one care with the residents who live there. They are activity-centered. I got to meet their activity coordinator and talked to her about it. My mom does not just have Alzheimer's. She is also blind and the coordinator is very mindful in making sure that the activities are inclusive, which can be challenging when not only do you have memory issues, but also other issues like my mom do. They have a lot of different types of activities. They are working on the families' need to see their loved ones more often, so they have been very on top of getting people vaccinated. I was able to take my mom on her first outing since we moved in there in March because of that. One of the biggest things I like about it is ever since my mom moved in there, she is looking good. Her health, her stamina, and how she looks very healthy. We are not allowed in the dining room yet, but I have seen it. It is very large and spacious. The facility is housed in an area with lots of trees, which is beautiful and peaceful. The food is great too. They have it set up where their biggest meals are in the morning and during lunch, then a lighter meal for supper. To me, it makes sense because it's better for the body and digestion. I talked to my mom about the kind of food that they eat, and she is very happy about it. The staff is very attentive to my mom It is very easy to talk to them about anything, and they listen to my ideas too.

My mother is in Carmelo Park. It's just a normal facility. It doesn't look any different or anything like that. It's an older facility. It's not huge, but it's quaint, and quiet, and it's in a nice neighborhood. A lot of people enjoy their time there. The staff is very nice and professional. The services are adequate for what the people need. They do things every day. They have Bingo, poker, dancing, and activities that keep everybody entertained.

Carmelo Park was nice but expensive. The facility was very nice, and they treated us to lunch. They had a beautiful patio and a nice wall that they can jump over. It was comfy, and the people are nice. It was clean, and the staff was wonderful. The owner or manager was very nice and treated us very nicely.

Carmelo Park is pretty large, and they have a lot of clients. It seemed nice, and they gave me an excellent tour. The person there was very accommodating and gave me a very good tour. It's a good location and inside was very good, and they have a little area outside for people to sit. They have a large deck on one side of the facility so people can sit out there, so it's a nice place. They have a salon where the ladies can get their hair done, and I think they have an exercise room. They had a big room where people can watch TV. They had a nice dining area, and I met the chef. It's very impressive.

My mom was a resident of Carmelo Park and I am forever grateful for them. Caring for my mom and finding a safe place for her was one of the hardest things I have ever done. The staff at Carmelo Park did everything humanly possible to make my mom's time there as happy and safe as possible. The facility is nice and homey. The food is very good (I had quite a few lunches there with my mom), and the staff is wonderful. To the reviewer that only gave 2 stars because of the cost, I imagine it might have been one of the first places he/she visited because in comparison to all the assisted care facilities in the area I believe Carmelo Park is very reasonable. and worth every penny.

We liked Carmelo Park, but the reason that I didn’t put my dad in there was because we didn’t have the funds to pay for him since it was close to $4,000 a month. The staff was very friendly and nice. The director was fine. It’s clean and very nice. We had a lunch of meatloaf.

Carmelo Park is great. My patients always get the best care. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive to my patients' needs. My patients tell me they feel like they are in their own home. I have no hesitation recommending Carmelo Park for my patients.

CARMELO PARK IS TRULY "HOME" FOR OUR MOMS! ONE MOM HAS BEEN TREATED LIKE A PRINCESS FOR 6 YEARS, ENCOURAGING US TO MOVE THE OTHER MOM THERE. THE PAST TWO YEARS WITH BOTH OF THEM THERE HAVE BEEN SO WONDERFUL FOR OUR FAMILY - CARMELO PROVIDES A STABLE, LOVING HOME WITH THE MOST COMMITTED AND COMPETENT CAREGIVERS. AS AN RN MYSELF, I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT WITH THEIR ENTIRE STAFF AND THE LEVEL OF CARE PROVIDED. WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE AND GRATEFUL THAT THERE IS A CARING PLACE LIKE CARMELO PARK FOR OUR PARENTS
