I choose Country Village because the price is right, and it is in the location that I am familiar with. The staff is very nice, very helpful, and very efficient. I have a studio apartment. It has the amenities that I need. It is very nice. I have my own kitchenette. They have a nine-hole golf course. They have activities if you want to go. They have a clinic and a pharmacy. I will recommend them to others.

Be careful! The apartments are rehabbed AFTER you choose 1 of 2 models. You will not see yours until move-in day- that is highly unusual. We have never rented anywhere without seeing the exact unit. When ours was ready it was nowhere near move-in condition. The same old cabinets were just covered with sloppy paint, the stove was a 24 inch stove in a 30 inch space, the bathroom sink was cracked and had a hole big enough for my wife to stick her finger into and the shower was sprayed with some sort of texture coating including the hardware!! Country Village passes on the rehab of each unit to the renters instead of rehabbing each unit beforehand. Upgrades can include the appliance package $40, $40 and Granite counters $40. This comes to an extra $120 per month for the length of your lease. Furthermore by going with the appliance package and getting stainless steel stove refrigerator and microwave oven exhaust you lose a true exhaust. This means your kitchen fumes and natural gas fumes are only recirculated through a charcoal filter into your windowless kitchen. Be careful. If you do not see your unit is ready BEFORE your movers come with your furniture you will be living in a apartment that is not in the same condition as the one you chose. Peace be with you.

Country Village Apartments was nice. I like that it's spacious and very clean. It's not a crowded place. It's a big community. The office people were very nice. Inside the community, they have a medical clinic, a pharmacy, a market, and little shops, so they don't have to go out and the prices were very affordable. The staff during the tour was very nice and very patient giving me information. The apartments were separate and they were small, very clean, and very nice. They have a place to do your nails and a barber and they have a park to play golf.

I visited Country Village Apartments. The lady that took care of me was wonderful. She was so nice, so helpful, and so kind. The apartment that they showed me was beautiful and beautifully decorated. It's a very clean, neat, and nice place. There's a lot of amenities; they told me everything. There's swimming and golf. They said that a lot of the indoor stuff has kinda slowed down because of Covid. There is a medical facility and a deli in there. It's almost like everything that you need is there; you really don't have to leave for anything. They have a big variety of apartments. However, I have to rate it a 3 because of the price. They just keep stacking on more and more what you have to pay. When you go in there and you think the rent is this much, by the time you walk out, it's got a lot more added to it. Water and garbage was an extra $50 a month, then they force you into buying renter's insurance. That's what made me decide to get my deposit back and not do it because it just kept adding up and adding up.

Country Village Apartments only takes 55 and older, but it was beautiful and I liked it. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were beautiful. Everything was immaculate. It looked like it was in a movie, it didnt look real, but it was. They had pools and spas and every service you can think of. They had it going on over there. They had nurses and doctors coming in.

I'm living in Country Village Apartments. It's a clean place and it looks nice. The staff has been responsive when I have questions or needs in some way with maintenance. They have cooked food for you but I have not utilized that. They have arts and crafts, painting, exercise and dancing.

Don’t be fooled by the low price and nice pictures on their web site, This place is not safe and after all the extra expenses and charges not cheap, I was living there for 1 year and quickly found out the dark side of this place and would recommend everyone not to rent there. They charge extra for covered parking place, the cost of using the laundry machines is extremely high, they charge extra for using the garden to plant something, they raise the rent every year, they require a renters insurance, if you have a pet they make sure the riverside animal control pays you a visit so you better have all the documents ready or you’ll get a citation. The gate is rarely manned, and anyone can get in and out without getting checked, any hour of the day or night. Minimal facilities, no restaurant, no real golf course, The nearby neighborhoods are noisy, not safe at night, fireworks almost every night, and police activity. The community isn’t 55+ as published, there are many young families with children, and at night you smell pot in many locations just walking around the place. Some of the employees in the place live there, with their family and friends, and guess what, they don’t need to follow the rules, that “regular” renters are required to follow when signing the lease: For example: No grill allowed in front of the units, (unless you are an employee) You cannot save a parking spot even if you are moving in or out , (unless you are an employee) You cannot have someone else stay overnight , (unless you are an employee) You have to have a sticker on your car to park in the community, (unless you are an employee) You can park in covered parking spots only if they are assigned for you , (unless you are an employee) Etc, Etc, So instead of making the mistake like me and others, save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place.

Country Village Apartments was horrible. I wasted two weeks of my time staying there getting information, and I still didn't get the place. I was very upset. I filled out paperwork and after a couple of days, they needed something else, so I provided them with the document they wanted that day, then a couple of days later they wanted something else. They wanted information from my daughter's doctors, so that she could live there because she is disabled. Even after I provided them with all that information, they still didn't give me the apartment. I had to stay in a hotel because I don't have a place to live for two weeks waiting to get approved by them and then they denied my application. I was so upset. The facility was OK, but not as nice as other places. It wasn't all that nice on the inside. They had a lot of amenities, but the grounds and the outside of the apartment weren't that nice. I wasn't impressed, but I was desperate so I was willing to take it. They were horrible to me and the place was not that great. I wouldn't recommend it.

I was very impressed with Country Village. It was comfortably priced. It was set-up nicely. I liked what I saw. It had a couple of pools, a work room, and a banquet room. We looked at a two-bedroom apartment, and it was nice.

I have lived in Country Village for 5 years and have seen many changes, including but not limited to now not being able to wash cars, no water in the gym or any where else, no thrift store, no restaurant, no dog grooming, more crime (lock up everything), Veterans office is a now a joke. In addition to no microwave, no dishwasher, no indoor laundry, and old decorating, fleas and roaches are a problem (they did come and spray) To top off everything rent went up $50 in 2015 and $70 in 2016. When our lease is up we are moving.

I’ve been at the Country Village Apartments for a little over two months, and it’s wonderful. It’s like living in a park because it even has a 9-hole golf course. There are about 1,200 apartments; each one is like an individual house with nobody up above you. It’s just really nice and very quiet. You definitely have your winter weather out here and feel the change in climate. The community even has a little country store, a gym where you can work out, and just a bunch of different things, like a hair salon and a barber shop. I already recommended it on Facebook for other people that might need a place to move because the cost is very good. The staff is very helpful and very nice. I had to call maintenance a couple of times, and they came out pretty quickly. The only thing is that it does not have a washer and dryer inside the unit, but the machines not very far, and there are people who will help. We have a girl that comes and gets my laundry since I have a problem walking. The rooms are of a very decent size, and the bathroom is huge with enough room to fit two wheelchairs. The only other thing they don’t have is a dishwasher, but a lot of people who are in here are just single people and don’t have that many dishes to wash anyway, so that’s really no big thing. The biggest thing is the air conditioning because it gets pretty hot out here in the summer. The parking is very good and not that far from where you live. They don’t have garages, just carports. We have a lot of good storage inside the place with three big closets that really can store a lot of stuff.

Country Village is lovely. There are very few apartments left. I got a larger one which my daughter-in-law found through her brother who lives nearby. It is a very nice one-bedroom, and they completely took care of it before I move in. There is a golf course, tennis, swimming pool, and tons of activities. It has two swimming pools, a ten-hole golf course, and a tennis court. It is very lovely.

It's kind of nice at Country Village. It's an apartment complex with a nice environment because it's all senior citizens. You have your own kitchen to cook your own food, but they have a restaurant as well. The people have their own pets and a place where they can put them where they can run and roam around. You can have your own garden, too. I liked it best because they have different things like stores, a golf course, and other amenities.

We really liked Country Village because it was a one-story apartment. It looked like a little village. It had a nine-hole golf course. It got a restaurant, a grooming place and a hair salon. There was a lot of greenery and there was guard at the gate all the time. The people there were very nice.
