I met with the owner of Quail Garden. I was able to ask any questions I wanted, and she was more than helpful. I liked that she was actually interviewing me during the process because she likes to have a feel for the family members. It was privately owned, the outside is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are very nice, they have a large deck with lots of tables and umbrellas that are visible from the front of the building. The inside, it's all dark colors, burgundies, dark greens, heavy fabrics, it's a cool look, but I felt my mom would not like it. You can tell that the owner has a genuine interest in the residents.

Quail Garden is my favorite one. It’s like an old Victorian with the décor and the way they had it setup to be very vintage and Victorian era. It was gorgeous. The owner was very nice and seemed to be a very sweet lady who cared about her residents. The staff seemed to be very on-task and very helpful. It is a very close-knit community, so it’s not spread out and not a really big place. It’s clean and well-kept. They have a common bathroom down the hall, and the rooms are small, so you can fit your bed, a chair, and TV, and decorate it however you want. They have people from one of the local churches come for visits and take them out on outings and trips.
