My father was sent here to get stronger. In 24 hours, no one got him up to walk, sit or ambulate. He waited 1 1/2 hours after pressing the nurse button and was told do not call here if it is not an emergency. Meals are ice cold and disgusting. We removed him from the facility immediately after witnessing the non-existent care. This is a rehab facility and rehab is the last thing on anyone's agenda.

Is so awful, nurses don't come when patient press the emergency light,I have stay on the phone with my dad for 2 hours hearing him scream for help and no one come to help, I have call to the station and they ignore the calls , I am a provider for my dad ,I have probe that they ignore patients, the rooms are filty, bathrooms are nasty, I feel very impotent that a can come to his help during closing time, because they close at 8pm ,when I walk to see my dad ,I could here people screaming for help and I have seeing nurses talking on the hall... even my dad has call for help for the men next to him ,that he needed help , is so sad very sad .....

My mother has been in long term care for approximately 2 years. The care has been minimal and she has gone to the hospital twice with UTI infections. The nursing staff does not catch the fact that she is sick. Usually it is me trying to point out to them that she is not doing well. Recently she has injuries to her arm and leg, but no one will admit what happened to her. I have pictures to document her injuries. I visit her almost every other day. She is there because I have no other options with Medicare and Medical

I don't know if the facility has improved since my mother was discharged, however during the months of July 2010 until December 2010 I witnessed the quality of care decline. My understanding is, due to the recession, the facility reduced staff. Also, the contract that is signed upon admission states that you should not be concerned with retribution for concerns brought to their attention. However, management dealt with all staff issues by just banning that staff member from being in contact with the patient. So staff who can assist the patient becomes limited.
