My parents are at Glen Park at Glendale, and it's going great. They have adjusted to this better than the assisted living they had been at previously, and the staff seems more attentive. Overall, it's very good. It's very clean and very well kept. It has a Hollywood theme with famous old movies off of the wall, and it gives them a lot to talk about. The room that they got was immaculate, and the food was pretty good. It felt homey.

Glen Park at Glendale - Mariposa St. was a nice facility. It's clean. The staff was very nice. They showed me the whole facility and what they have to offer, the activities that go on there, and the surrounding area. I asked about what type of area it was and also they were talking about field trips that are eventually going to start pretty soon with the residents there. They were nice people. The rooms were pretty nice but basic. I was looking at a suite for my parents possibly, so they could have the same room and it's pretty nice. It seems like it was a little bit older, but nothing bad. It was a nice room with access to a patio. They also have themes like 50s themes, 40s, and different types of themes. The staff during the tour was very nice and very helpful. She said once we figure out what the status of my parents is, they could figure out what part of the facility they could be housed in. They have the typical things like checkers, puzzles, bingo, and television.

I toured Glen Park at Glendale - Mariposa St for my mom. The rooms are very tiny. It felt like an institution, and it felt like the people there are way old. There's no activity. That's the impression I got. There's just a common area in the front of the reception with a TV. The staff was helpful and she's doing her job.

Glen Park At Glendale was nice. They have two different facilities and the people seemed nice. It's a little dated, but we're looking at location and price, and they were falling in that category. They have a big open room with a TV and they have some activities for the residents. I'm also looking at security and locked doors, and they were willing to work with our budget.

Glen Park at Glendale was OK. My friend kind of like it except that it had a Hollywood theme, and I think he may have felt a little bit intimidated. All of their hallways had pictures of Hollywood artists, and he said he felt like after a while, he'd grow tired of seeing those pictures. The rooms were fairly nice but a little bit small, and it was a kitchenette and bedroom altogether. It had quite a few spaces where you could go outside to just sit and look around. It was pretty nice, but it just wasn't his cup of tea. They have an activity room and a couple of little spots here and there throughout where people could sit and chitchat. The staff and the director who assisted us were very friendly and nice. Everything was easy to get to.
