My dad has moved into Avocado Creek, and it seems fine. He has a really nice room with a private bath, so that's good. There are other people there that it's small and it's home-like. So, it's a better atmosphere. The staff members were very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. The facility is very clean, and the rooms are very nice. It's nice and open and is a good place for people to get together and stuff. I haven't tasted the food myself, but my dad seems to like it. They seem to really care about what they're doing.

My father moved into Avocado Creek, and I think they're an excellent facility. The caregivers are very attentive, they take care of the nephrostomy tube, which a lot of the assisted living places won't do. A lot of them won't take my dad because of that. It's clean, all the meals are made from scratch, and they're very conscientious of everybody's diet. He has a private room, with a bed, an electric La-Z-Boy chair that help you get up, a dresser, and a TV. You can put in your own phone or furniture. He has his own door that goes outside, so he can open his door and listen to the birds.

My mother moved in to Avocado Creek two weeks ago. We like the staff. They seem well qualified and very nice. I like the interaction among them and the residents. She has dementia, and she doesn't do much. They watch TV, she walks around, and they play a little volleyball. We like the cleanliness and the security of the facility. It's a small facility, and it's all enclosed. It's a board and care, and they have 10 residents right now. We like that they get more personalized care.
