I toured Palm Valley Care Home II for my mother. It was a very pleasant experience. I was greeted by the staff. I toured the facility, the bedroom size, the bathroom, the living room areas, the recreational areas, and so forth. I looked at the ground footage to see if it was wheelchair accessible, and I was very pleased with the environment. It's a very nice place. The layout of the rooms was pretty spacious. It was a house that they had turned into residential care. One room had a bathroom inside of it, and the other rooms were single bedrooms with bathrooms accessible through the hallway. It was very clean, very well furnished, and ready to go. It was a very warm inviting environment. The staff members were very, very cordial in greeting me at the door. They had verified upon their notation that I was expected at that time period, and they were very warm and inviting to allow me to see and use the facility and take me on a tour. So I was pleased with their actions. I toured the kitchen facility, and it was very well stocked with food inside the refrigerator, the cupboards, and so forth. There were utensils to serve the residents and there were places for the residents to store their food that they would bring in. There was the allowable nature of a cook on staff.
