My mom has been in WellQuest of Elk Grove for a week now. The community is fairly new. I visited it a few times, but I haven't seen anything that I can say about whether it's good or not. It's a new and quiet facility. So far, the staff is pretty friendly. Her room is pretty spacious. But I don't know if they have done any type of cleaning. I found a lot of dust in the room. I did mention that to the cleanup person there if they can wipe down the dust a little bit. They have a list of activities. They are trying to keep them occupied. But I haven't seen anything big at the time I went there. They're just working on some puzzles. I haven't seen any kind of events or activities. The dining area is pretty clean. It's pretty pricey concerning what they offer there.

We went to look at WellQuest of Elk Grove. The color scheme was very peaceful. The staff members were very nice and helpful. It was the only property that had a pool. It had a chair lift to get you in and out of the pool, which was probably its biggest selling feature. So my mother-in-law had the option of water exercise and stuff like that. To be honest, it was just the whole package. There were so many things for her to do and many places for her to hang out. She didn't have to stay in her room. The apartments were very nice. There were two that we looked at, and the one we put a deposit on had plenty of room for my mother-in-law. There was room for her to have a bed in one room and then her chair in the other room. There were kitchen facilities within the room, like a microwave. She could have a refrigerator where she could bring food to the room if she wanted. She's diabetic, so she eats snacks during the day and has to have food, and that was available for her in the room where she could be comfortable. The fact that there were services each week for laundry or if she needed help getting in and out, there was always somebody there for her. She liked all of that, too. The front is so unappealing because it's right off the freeway, but once you get inside, it's like a whole new site. I would want to live there. It was very easy to get around. We talked to the chef, and we were most interested in the fact that my mother-in-law would be able to get meals for diabetics, be able to kind of customize them a little bit, and have input into what she has. They had no problem sharing things for diabetics and making sure that what she needed was there for her. They had outside activities where they would take you somewhere to do things other than shopping or whatever.

I toured WellQuest of Elk Grove. The person was good and knowledgeable. They had different options. It was nice. They showed us three different apartments. One was a two-bedroom, which was very big, very spacious and nice. Then they showed us a one-bedroom, which was also good. They showed us a one-and-a-half unit, which had more space. They had a refrigerator, a washing machine and a dryer. Everything looked very new and very clean. It looked good. The staff who toured me explained everything.

WellQuest of Elk Grove was clean. It was like a five-star hotel. The staff was great. The tenants are all great. Everything about it was great. They have a beauty shop, a gym, and lounges. They have a class for cooking, bible study, and all kinds of different things. The staff was very personable, informative, and professional. The dining area was very large, adequate in size, and clean. A lot of people were sitting in there, eating, and conversing.

WellQuest of Elk Grove was a nice place. It was brand new, probably no more than two years old, and it had nice things. However, there's not a lot of vegetation around the place. It didn't have a warm fuzzy feeling and it was smaller, but it was affordable. The room options were very good. They were big and spacious. The problem was they were on the third floor and they have this rule that if you are not completely ambulatory, as prescribed by the doctor, then they can't be on the third floor. My mother is ambulatory, but with a walker, so it would be risky putting somebody on the third floor. It was a weird rule.

I liked WellQuest of Elk Grove. The staff was very nice. They offered me a good deal for moving in. The ambiance was nice, and I liked the amount of staff on board. The rooms were very nice. They're more like an apartment, and they have a variety to offer from. I will have a one-bedroom with a one and a half bath. They have a pool that's heated. They do scheduled group activities like water aerobics and such. They also have a lot of other activities scheduled throughout the week that are interesting to me. The interior of the building was attractive as well. In general, it just seemed to be what I needed.

WellQuest of Elk Grove is very nice. They have all levels. They showed me the cottage and we looked at a studio apartment. I met one lady there, and she said it was a very nice place. It was beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. The staff was very nice and very friendly. If the price was a little bit lower, I would be able to afford to go there. But to think about paying $48,000 a year, that's kind of high for me. I can't pay that kind of money. The staff was very nice.

WellQuest of Elk Grove was nice and huge. It's very clean, very nice, and they were very professional, but it felt like you were in a resort. So, it was just too much for my mother. It'd be very difficult for her, I think, to adapt to that, but they were nice. It was good. I toured both assisted living and memory care and everything was clean and beautiful. They had a salon, a game room for the people, and little cottages outside. It was also very expensive.

I toured WellQuest of Elk Grove for my brother. It was very nice and very contemporary. They seemed to be very obliging. A one-bedroom is what we're looking for. It was clean, spacious, and bright. My brother would be interested in activities, and we did see some there. They have a library, exercise room, doctors' office, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. They pretty much have it all. The staff was very, very pleasant.

We looked at the cottages at WellQuest of Elk Grove, and they were beautiful. That would have been the way to go, but my mother-in-law was in-between. Because the cottages were too far from the main building, she would have to do some of the things that she doesn't have to do now. She'd have to take the garbage out, and there's not as much housekeeping, so she'd have to make her own bed. That's the downside. The price was right, the price was very good, and the size of the apartment was fantastic, but there's less service. Now, on the inside of the building, the apartments were small, they were expensive, and they did not include a kitchen. So things like a stove are not included in the inside apartment. So those are the pros and cons of WellQuest. Otherwise, the facility's beautiful. My initial impressions of the staff were also very high.

We went to WellQuest of Elk Grove. They were friendly. To me, it was too much money, and you couldn't enjoy it. If you were an adult only, that's fine, but I need something where you can have family over. They were nice, but I just didn't feel at home. It didn't have that homey feeling. It's beautiful. It was a newer facility. The building was immaculate, it was very well kept, and they're also still really new, too.

For me, WellQuest of Elk Grove was perfect. I wanted a cottage and they do have cottages there. The cottages just opened a year ago, so they're new and I like that. They were friendly and they had a library, a fitness center, a beauty salon, activities room where you could play cards, a dining room, and a movie room. The first two levels of the main building are mainly different rooms for different activities. The food is excellent, too. They gave us a test to try the food and it was very good.

WellQuest of Elk Grove is very nice, new, and very clean. We looked at a couple of different units, and they were really lacking storage. One of them was OK because it had a second closet. They didn't have a full kitchen, and they only had a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff members were very helpful and very knowledgeable.
