Blessed Home for Seniors IV was just a house. I looked at a couple of rooms and they had ample space and access to a couple of different bathrooms for showers and things, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for. Compared to the bigger facilities, they don't have as much going on with the residents. They're just kind of there. The condition of the place was good. It was very clean and very neat. The staff was knowledgeable about her place, what it was, what it wasn't, the pricing, and how everything worked. She was helpful. I'm sure it'll be great for someone who just wanted to be in a small facility because it was just a home. It wasn't a big place with lots of rooms and everything. I'm sure some people would be more comfortable that way.

We visited Blessed Home for Seniors IV. The lady in charge is a nurse, so she understands how to take care of people when they're sick and so forth. The place was really clean and had what looked like brand new furniture. It's well decorated and well structured or designed inside to hold six clients. Each client has individual rooms with individual exits to come out in case of emergency, to go out into the yard. One of the rooms has a private bathroom and that's the one I picked as I got there before anybody even picked anything because it was so new. I like having the bathroom be private to that room only. They had other rooms that had Jack-and-Jill bathrooms. The staff seemed like a very caring person; it's like her passion. The dining area was nice. It was like off from the large family room in front of the patio, so you could look out the slider and see shrubbery. It had a big table where you could sit down in their chairs or pull up a wheelchair and be comfortable. I saw a counter with benches or barstools, so you have the option to sit there. It's clean and everything just looked neat and pristine and I like that. They do bingo and several types of games that they try to get them involved in. They take them outside and let them walk around the patio to get exercise.
