Absolutely horrible experience! I met with a Mr. Crosby who, during our initial interview, repeatedly commented on my looks and how attractive I was. My 88 year old mother was present so I attempted to brush it off but it became embarrassing and intolerable. Mr. Crosby began to ask if he can smell my feet for some vague medical purpose. I refused and quickly left with my Mother. It was incredibly embarrassing and I felt that I should warn others considering their services. This incident was also reported to their management office.

We placed my dad at Bonita Home Care a few months ago. It is a house, and they are only licensed to have 6 people. He has 24/7 care. He has someone there to be with him on a one-on-one basis. It is like being in a resort. It is all-inclusive. He has 3 meals a day. They feed them, and they bathe them. They take care of their exercises. They do activities 3 times a week. They take them out to restaurants, walk them to the park, and have ice cream. There are only 6 people, so it is intimate, and that works out well for him. There are alarms on all of the doors. Each person has personal alarms in their room, so if they get up in the middle of the night and need assistance, they just press the button, and it is a personal alarm to assist them. Everything is safe, and he has his own room. There are 2 caregivers there at all times. I like that it is clean. It does not smell. It is very friendly. It is like a big family type atmosphere. They don't want people to just be laying on their bed all the time. They are out in the family room. They are all together. They communicate with each other. It is like a big family gathering every day, and if they want quiet time, they can go to their room. We can go over there, pick him up, and say we are going to be taking him for the day or for the weekend. We just work with them to know when he is coming back so they can prepare a meal for him.
