My mother is currently in rehab at Mountain Manor. They're doing physical therapy with her. She's been there for about three weeks now. She has much improved emotionally since she's been there. The people there are very kind and very generous. She's enjoying most of the food, but she can be a little fussy. The place itself is very clean. They have a very nice atmosphere in the visiting areas. The rooms are not small. They're a decent size. You can get a few people in to visit. It's a very nice place. She's been there before and they remembered her. They normally do have activities, but right now they're still kind of locked down for COVID. They're not doing as many activities as they might. My mom got up to go to the dining room to eat with the residents for the first time in ages. She was actually sitting to eat. She's been lying down for a couple of years now, and they're getting her up and getting her mobile. There's kind of a living room area with very attractive couches and stuff, and there's a courtyard in the middle. I know that they have an exercise room.

I was a resident for two weeks mainly for physical therapy. The physical therapists that worked with me were Tina and Jim. They were very friendly and kept me motivated. I have trouble sometimes motivating myself and they put just the right amount of pressure and a lot of encouragement that I improved much more than I thought I could. The nursing staff that put up with me, Goldie, and Monday and all the others took excellent care of me. There were plenty of times when they were extremely busy. When I pushed the call button I never had to wait very long. If it was a busy time they would come in and let me know that they acknowledged my call and would help me as soon as possible. Kathryn the Occupational therapist was excellent. She helped make sure I could do everything necessary in order to be able take care of myself when I returned home. The rooms were excellent. The staff came in and cleaned and mopped the floor and cleaned the bedside table at a minimum of once a day. Sometimes twice. The lab technicians were great. No pain when they drew blood and checked glucose levels. Kimberly the Director of Business Development was extremely nice and friendly. She made sure I had everything thing I needed and personally checked on patients. She was a pleasure to deal with. Kimberly and all the staff make you feel important and that your health matters. It can be depressing sometimes laying in bed in pain but the staffs friendly personalities help it not be so bad. Sometimes if they haven't heard from me and the call button for awhile they would stop in just to check and see if I was ok or needed anything. I have been to other facilities and thought they were real good but Mountain Manor is by far the best. I highly recommend them. Thank you Mountain Manor for making my rehab a very pleasant experience.

I highly recommend Mountain Manor, this is the best skilled nursing facility I've ever been to. Its a positive, clean, friendly environment that's helped me in my recovery. The staff's upbeat and the building is updated is beyond beautiful completely updated. The food comes out hot and is tasty! The therapy staff and nurses are professional and efficient. They have been my saving grace now i can walk with out fear of falling. Thank you Mountain Manor staff our community is lucky to have healthcare pros around like you!

My husband was in Mountain Manor, and we were happy with them. They were very good, and they got him up and round at home, that was the deal. He had a nice room, they kept it clean, there was room for visitors, but the therapists were excellent, and the nursing staff was just wonderful. The meals were fine, and I think he got better meals than at home.

Give an accurate review of the care my mom received . After a surgery my mother had to be in a skilled nursing facility. I chose with the direction of the nurse from her assisted living facility to have her stay at Mountain Manor. The staff was supportive and professional. They worked hard to make sure she recovered. The nurse kept me informed about her progress and if there was a problem I was contacted immediately. I am grateful for the care she received. One note, the food was uninviting. Vegetables were soggy and over cooked. It was not served in a way to increase the appetite. This is one area that could use improvement

My grandmother is at this facility caring kindness from all. The owner Jim has made some great refurbishing changes. He definitely loves his career and his residents. all the staff are great. SPECIAL IVORY she is the medicine nurse. She is so caring so loving n knowledgeable; our family and Granny is so thankful for her. SUSIE I believe she is the activity director oh my she is such a loving happy caring asset to this facility. I am a friend of a long-time resident that has stayed 10+ years at this facility, I visit her every week. This facility used to be a close-knit small community where everyone was family. The building was run-down but it was always clean inside and the staff treated the residents as if they were blood related. Since this facility took a new owner the staff that cared about the residents were slowly filtered out and replaced. The new owner does not care about the residents and he does not care to hire staff that will treat the residents like people instead of a job. He only cares about the bottom line $$$$$. If you want your loved-one to be treated like a paycheck and not a person then check them in here. The motto of this facility used to be "Resident's do not live where we work, we work where they live." There is no unity, and the owner of this facility had no empathy for people or animals. He only has empathy for money.

Mountain Manor was wonderful. Our father's care was excellent. We could not have asked for a better place to have our dad. We are very grateful.

This is not the loving caring facility it has been known for in the past. Quality of care and staff attitudes have definitely changed. Even though the building in the past was worn and dated, it was clean and had no odors, can't say that is true at present time.

I move in Mountain Manor. It is an OK place to live. I am in a semi-private room, and we share a bathroom; there's four to a bathroom. We have CNAs, a social worker, and a business manager. Our owner is the administrator. We have facilities like health, hearing, podiatry, and dental. The activities are very good. We do bingo, in-door and Wii bowling, arts & crafts, and movies. We go to Walmart, and we also go to the 99 cents store. The food is terrible, but hopefully it will improve. What really impresses me is the rent. It is low, and it is under $3,000. They need to improve on the rooms and improve the food.

The last time I visited Mountain Manor, which was more recently, I really liked it. It was on different hands again. People were talking in the hallway even though some were in wheelchairs. They were not just like pushed up the door and left to sit. They seemed to interact and interchange a lot better. Mountain Manor was now under better hands. It didn't have the smell. The rooms were really nice. They were really large.
