I toured Arcadia Living. It's an older facility, but it's very well-kept. The parking was a little hard to get to only because it goes underground. It's tight to get in there, but it's a decent parking structure. It's small. The people at the front desk greeted you and were very nice. The person that I spoke to on the phone was amazing. I toured Arcadia Living. They're very inviting. The people were very nice. The unit that I looked at, it's on the second floor. It was in the corner. It was decent. So it had potential like I could see myself putting things there. I liked it. They have parking underground if you have a car, and the underground parking is gated. The grounds are pretty. What I liked about my tour of Arcadia Living was that the people living there seemed to be pretty upbeat. They're moving around, they seemed lovely, and they're comfortable in their space. They didn't look like they'd been drugged or were lethargic. The staff was very helpful. The lady that I made the appointment with wasn't there and didn't tell them that we were coming, but the staff were still accommodating and helpful to us. I put my husband in Arcadia Living for respite care while I had a vacation. They took care of him. The only issue I had was that they did not push him to get up and get exercise. They would come in and say, "Are you ready to get up for lunch? Are you ready to get up for breakfast?" "No, I just want to stay in bed."
