Moving toward the state’s northeastern corner, Spokane is also more affordable, at $5,084. Next to Puget Sound, Bremerton has a median assisted living price of $5,000 per month. Meanwhile, Walla Walla has the lowest assisted living costs in the state, at $3,800 per month, making it approximately $2,950 more affordable than Snohomish County. Traveling north, next to the Canadian border, Bellingham has the second-lowest prices in the state, at $4,738. Although Snohomish County’s assisted living costs are higher on average than other Washington cities’, its close proximity to Seattle’s amenities makes it a desirable place to live.
