"We're moving my mom this Friday at Leisure Manor. First off, it was a really nice facility and only 5 miles from my house. It seemed like a very nice, family-owned business. I like that it's kind of like in the woods and it's really homey like. The staff was wonderful. Their rooms were a little bit smaller than I would like but I like the people and the whole atmosphere. They did have activities for their residents. They have like the regular exercise, dance and music, outings, and they also would have actors come in. They have a hairdresser in-house. They just have all the things that we wanted for my mom. "

"My mother has been there for a couple weeks now. She is always clean, nicely dressed, and seems to enjoy all the activities they have. The staff in Memory Care are amazing. As a loved one, who was the major caregiver prior, I really appreciate their patience and attention to making my mother feel special. This week they attended a tea party, put on by the Activities Director and staff. In the morning the Memory Care Activities coordinator, polished the ladies fingernails, so they were ready for tea. That’s was so thoughtful. "

StoryPoint Clinton has large rooms for each resident and large beautiful common areas for residents to move around and enjoy. The entire facility is clean and kept clean. The food is top notch like you would get at a nice restaurant and they have large variety of offerings. The staff really keeps the residents engaged and busy with things to do each day. "Its apartments were a good size. They had a library and a gym where people could go and exercise. They also had a nice dining area. The food wasn't super good, but it was OK. The place was clean."

"We were really pleased with Mary's Center for Seniors because it was smaller. The staff were all very nice and they were able to let my sister-in-law get out of her room and go to the dining room every day. She is only there for about a month. The rooms were a little small, but it was adequate for her. The dining room looked homey. You could watch the staff prepare the food and the looked very nice. They were doing a few activities, but she couldn’t participate because of her dementia. The place wasn’t fancy and that is what we really wanted for her. "

"I visited Bickford of Shelby Township. They had a lot of activities. They can do therapy in their room if they want to. They have a courtyard. Their location is close to restaurants and shopping malls."

"The location, availability, and references from other people that are in Wynwood are the reasons why we chose this facility. The staff is all pleasant. My mother-in-law has only been there three weeks, so we're still feeling things out. But so far everything's okay. She said the food is good. If she wants something different than what's on the menu, they'll give it to her. Any issues that I've brought up has been taken care promptly. The rooms were very spacious, nice decor and all that. That was one of the reasons too why we chose it. Although I don't think they clean often enough. "

"I visited here for my Mom, what a warm and Happy Place to live! The Staff were so helpful and kind, knew residents by name. Staff answered all my questions and gave me a Lovely tour of apartment and facilities. Jade was my advisor and she was so accommodating, knowledgeable and delightful. Here a parent or spouse can have a real home and all the extras for medical needs and house keeping. I felt it was a happy and safe place for my Mom. I highly recommend and pricing is not bad for all that you get in return. Peace of mind!"
