My mother went to Watermark in March of 2023. I have to honestly say that I never worried one moment at all about her safety and care in this senior living facility. The staff is all fantastic. Over the year, we got to know several of the staff personally and loved them all. Compared to other facilities we toured and one other place my mother stayed for a very short week, I could not recommend any place over and above Watermark, Continental Ranch.

The Watermark at Continental Ranch was one of the top on my list. When we came in, we're still taking temperatures and they're making you wash and sanitize. They weren't doing that everywhere, so that impressed me. You had to sign in. I got to tour the facilities. What I liked especially about their room is it's all separate ventilation, which makes a difference with Covid. They personally did not move any residents due to Covid in that facility. They had really nice rooms. Everything was very clean and neat. I liked the fact that they call the Nayas their caregivers. They were pretty impressive with how they were with the residents. I saw residents playing bingo. They were getting ready to have a snack when I was in there. They have a place for dining for families. Right now, family is able to go in and out, as long as they don't have any symptoms and no fever. You can go right into their room and visit them. I saw the common room, an outdoor area, and a courtyard. I was so impressed with them that they had trust in their families. We care enough about our parents to get vaccinated and to not take Covid in. They're still taking the steps to protect everyone as far as taking temperatures, making sure you don't have any symptoms, and asking you some questions of where you've been and where you've traveled to. They're still taking care of them and also the families can still be involved with them.

We're residing in The Watermark at Continental Ranch. It is a fairly new place. It was only built last year, so everything is sort of very spiffy. It is nice. They are taking good care of us. One of the reasons we chose this community is because it has both assisted care and memory care. I can receive assisted care and my wife will eventually need memory care, but we can be together quite a bit. It is all in the same community. The food is very good. We are all dealing with this coronavirus business, and I think they're doing the best they can. I'm on dialysis right now, so I go offsite three times a week, but my wife does some activities. They don't have much going on because of the virus, but it is large enough for everybody. The place is lovely, very stately, very pleasant, and very inviting.
