I love La Casa De Becker Assisted Living. They hug my mom, and they call her Mom. They do everything they can. I switched hospices to the house hospice because I wasn't too happy with my hospice. I thought I needed someone that's going to let me know how Mom's doing, and this one, they see her, and they call me. It's good. The owner moved their bed out and brought in my mom's own bed. I'm allowed to have lunch and dinner there. I can come any time. If I bring my mom anything, they cut it up into small pieces for her to eat. My mom is clean. She's constantly changed. The owner says, "These are all my grandparents." To him, they're all like his grandparents. The owner works hard. Sometimes he even sleeps overnight there. It's clean and very organized. The staff is friendly. As a matter of fact, if I go visit Mom and she's in her bedroom, they say, "You want me to shut the door so you guys can have some privacy?" I said, "No, it's all right." When I have time I want to go over there and do an activity, and I'm invited to do all of that. I'm invited to be involved. This is wonderful. It's like a home away from home.
