I moved my dad to Visions Assisted Living & Memory Care at Mesa. They were willing to accept him with his dementia, and they were what my dad could afford financially as he'll be paying out of pocket. I like the atmosphere and the caretakers that are there. We got everything for him, but they didn't have a cable box there. The staff is nice, they talk to you and ask questions. I was there one time when he was having dinner, and he ate all his dinner which he never did before. The food looked good. They look like any other facility, they have TVs, a kitchen, and they have a courtyard. The upkeep is good, everything looks clean and it's really good.

My mother had dementia, anyone that has a loved one with dementia knows how difficult it is. They also know that the care givers and the facility are so important. Visions team of care givers are awesome. My family is eternally grateful for the compassion and kindness their entire team bestowed upon our mother, Pansy, as she reached end of life cycle of dementia. I also want to send a special thanks to Mason, Tiffany, Seth, Judy, Cindy and the entire team for taking time to share the precious stories and moments between them, the other patients and our mom. They treated our mom as though she were their own grandma; in fact they called her grandma. My mother loved them and was never frightened by them. They always took the time to talk gently to my mom and made her feel special. During this difficult time of watching my mom slowly slip away, the entire team not only comforted my mom with great empathy but they also took the time to show compassion to our family. Every step of the way was made easier due to the empathy they showed us. My family is so thankful for the stories of their interactions with our mom. We will be eternally grateful for those precious stories. I do not know everyone's name at Visions that cared for our mom, but all of you are awesome we were truly blessed to have had you in our lives. So from the bottom of my families hearts we thank the entire team for being the best! Pansy is in heaven now and if she could she would say, bless you for taking such good care of me and God bless you for the love you made me and my family feel.

Visions of Mesa has been the best place for my dad!! Every one of the staff has been so incredibly caring and helpful right from the moment we walked in the door to tour, to when we brought my father there to live. They take pride in helping my father feel secure and comfortable. The assisted living facility is very bright, airy, clean and has a small home-like environment which eased his transition. The shower stall is very safe-- with a padded chair to ensure he can easily shower without falling. The rooms are large and can easily accommodate two residents when needed and they all have a large window to look out on the landscaped property. The meals are well balanced so I know he's getting good nutrition. My father has enjoyed his time here so far, and we have peace of mind that he is safe and well cared for. I highly recommend this facility!!

My visit to Visions Senior Living at Mesa was okay and the young girl who showed me around was really good. She was excellent, had lots of resources, was very energetic, explained everything, and answered my questions without any trouble. The facility itself was fine for folks who are OK being in a larger facility, but it didn't match my grandmother's needs. It was overall nice and not necessarily dirty, but it had a very strong urine smell. The people there were just sitting around in recliners and staring at a TV and I didn't see any interaction, which was sort of disappointing, but the staff was very friendly.

Visions Senior Living was very nice. I actually arrived during dinnertime, and one girl just dropped everything to show me around. It was a homier type of situation where they have a community dining room, the rooms were very nice, and they all had private bathrooms with big showers in them. They had a nice little living room, and they also had a memory care unit. Everything was locked, you had to get a code to go in, and it was gated. They had a nice little courtyard for people to sit out. It was a lot smaller, but it seemed very nice, so I was impressed with what I saw. They had a little beauty shop there and all kinds of things, and the people were all very nice too.
