My friend is now living in The Summit at Sunland Springs. It's clean and well-kept up. It was all set up for her to move in. And the food is excellent. The staff is very friendly. Even the handyman was accommodating like moving a shelf for her because it was too high. The building itself smells fresh. It doesn't smell like a hospital. When you walk in, it's just really nice. They have all kinds of activities. There's an exercise room, a puzzle room, and a library. My friend gets her hair done there, and she loves that. She is also playing bingo. Value for money is good. It is comparable.

The least that I liked about my tour of The Summit at Sunland Springs was that they have limited choices of apartments. They have a beautiful facility though, it's very nice. They have a salon, movie theater, they have transportation, and they have restaurant dining with very good food. Compared to the other place I ended up choosing, this one seems to be a lot more rigid when it comes to transportation, but it's not a big deal. They have an excellent staff that I met.

I toured The Summit at Sunland Springs. I initially went because of the location. The location is perfect for me. I did not call for an appointment, so I just stopped by hoping to schedule one, and they saw me on the spot. They went ahead and immediately dropped what they were doing and gave me the full tour. The rooms are much larger than the other location I went to. They also have a few more amenities. I met some people that live there and they're absolutely the sweetest people. They have more breakout rooms on different floors, and the rooms are larger. They have everything I need, and everything I think my mom wants. They have bible study, transportation, weekly outings, and weekly trips to the grocery store like Walmart and Target. They have a washer and dryer in the unit, and that was huge, too. Some of the rooms have a cooking stove. Like most of them, every day they have something going on like daily cards and daily get-togethers with whatever they want to do. They have monthly meetings so that the residents can meet with the staff and give recommendations on what they don't like and what they like or what they would like to see. There is open communication to try and give the residents what they want.

My husband has moved into The Summit at Sunland Springs. He seems to be doing really good. They get back to me if I have any questions, and they send out information quite often. They allow him to call us, or we can call him, and they bring him to the phone. Before he moved in they had a positive COVID test in their facility, and so they were shutdown for 28 days. After that, we were able to go visit, but we had to have a negative COVID test within 48 hours of that visitation, which was really hard, but that was what was needed to keep the residents there safe, so I have no problem with that decision. We can go see him now. They just opened up here two weeks ago with masks, and we have to have at least a negative COVID test within the last week, but we're all going for vaccinations. They have gotten their residents vaccinated as well. They haven't taken their second vaccines but they're very close to.

The Summit at Sunland Springs is an excellent community. It looks very nice and they had a lot of good programs to help people integrate into their new environment, and lots of social activities. It's really good. They have exercise classes, bible studies, book groups, and they have a library. They pretty much have everything. They had a very nice dining room with breakfast, lunch, and dinner available. The staff members were all very helpful.

The Summit at Sunland Springs is very good and they have quite a bit of activities for the residents going on. My father's room was nice size, I like the layout of the room, and it has a separator. The community smells better than most of the places I have been in, so it's much cleaner. The staff that I met there was very friendly and their food is very good, almost restaurant quality. They have a theater, a billiards room, fitness center and so on. It's a really nice place with very pleasant and friendly staff.

The Summit is a clean, uplifting and beautifully designed facility with a caring and attentive staff. My mother lived there for nearly 7 months before her passing. I am grateful that she lived her last months in a place that I would choose for myself or any other member of my family. We had confidence that my mom was receiving the appropriate attention and care she needed which took pressure off of me to be there constantly. All of their care is custom built for your individual needs. I found the cost to be very reasonable especially after visiting many facilities that were not near the quality of the Summit. Other positive features that my mother enjoyed: 1) Delicious meals made fresh daily, 2) diverse activities for all levels of ability, 3) a laundry facility on each floor 4) excellent housekeeping service, 5) in-house hair salon 6) daily movies with fresh popcorn in their theatre and 7) near-by shopping and dinning with a terrific Fry's Super grocery store almost walking distance. I am grateful to Summit for my very positive experience during a difficult period of my mom's life and I recommend them to anyone who needs assisted care.

If you are looking for a facility for yourself or a family member, look no further. This facility is just wonderful. The staff is friendly, helpful, caring, flexible. The facility is clean and well kept. The food is very good. My husband was only there for a month or so and when he left, everyone knew his name!

I placed mom in the Summit at Sunland Springs. It's newer, and the staff is fantastic to work with. We've had a couple of issues with her meds, but we got that worked out. Their food is just phenomenal. They have a cook, and they order off a menu, with certain items that can be ordered anytime of the day they want. They have an exercise room and a theater with theater chairs and everything, where they show a movie every night. They have studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. She's in a one-bedroom. They have big family rooms on every floor with a big TV, sitting area, and bathroom, and so we can all visit my mom and not be crowded in her tiny apartment. They take you to doctors' appointments if they're within a 10-mile radius, drop you off, and pick you back up in their bus.

The Summit is not quite open yet, but it’s on the process of building and soliciting people. The facility was very nice; the rooms were nice and commodious. We only saw the receptionist and the young lady who was currently in charge of selling; they were fine and very friendly. It’s the first and only one we looked at.

The Summit at Sunland Springs is the place I chose for my mother. It’s small but very good in a lot of ways. The staff is very good and takes care of the residents, which is very refreshing. The place is nicer compared to the other places I’ve visited. They seem to have a tremendous number of activities, and the staff engages with the residents participate in the activities.

I had the opportunity to transfer my relative to this facility. I have never experienced such a caring community - from the top down, everyone cares and strives to provide as loving a community as possible for the residents and the family. The care provided was amazing, and I can not think of a better place for my loved one to have spent her last days.

The Summit is very clean, and it's a fairly new place, so from that perspective it is nice. We have had a couple of issues with them related to just the overall care. I think the staff members are friendly, but they need more training and attention to detail. My mother is in a private room, and the space is great. The food is very good, and their dining facility is very nice, which is more like cafeteria style. They do offer a standard thing as well as alternatives on the menu. They have activities throughout the day, and they publish an activity calendar. They have exercises, arts and crafts, and TV, or movie. They seem to be keeping her engaged -- which is one of our main concerns -- but she is not just sitting there all day long.

I can't properly express how wonderful The Summit is -- words don't do justice! From the moment I walked in for a first meeting, I knew that I found the right place for my dad. Such a beautiful property with a lovely courtyard (and putting green!) and lively, engaging activities for the residents. I even enjoyed lunch with my dad and the food was incredible! And the staff -- what devoted and delightful people. They were so helpful to me as I navigated the admittance process (which was easy, but emotionally daunting for me) and have continued to be very sensitive to my dad's needs. Every single person I've met has been a pleasure and all really care about the residents. As I don't live close by, such dedication means so much to me -- I feel like my dad is with extended family. Thank you Summit!
