Silver Creek Inn Memory Care Community is great. I go in almost every day. My friend is doing well. We chose the place because it's close to my home and the people there are all very nice. I had a chance to talk to quite a few of the employees. I can talk to anybody and get a hold of anybody at any time that I need to. It's very clean and they're very good with the residents. They have a registered nurse on staff 24/7 besides their helpers. They're awesome. I have not one complaint about them. I've asked for help with things and they're right on it and everything's taken care of. They know where my friend is all the time and she can walk a complete circle. There's no getting blocked somewhere. It's just a very nice place and it's very well-maintained. They do games and things and then they take them out when the weather permits (not at this time of the year much). They all take them shopping and to different places if they need to get something done and nobody's around to help them with it. I do all of my friend's traveling stuff, but they offer that you can go on bus rides and things like that with groups. The meals are prepared by a chef and they're very good. If I wanted to eat with her, it's only $5 a meal. I've been there and tasted it and it's delicious. There's nothing bad to say about the staff at all and everyone I've met. I've been there every day at different times of the day so nobody knows when I'm coming through the door, and I liked that. I've dealt with other places that weren't quite like that. It's beautiful and you can personalize their rooms. They have things on the outside walls that you can personalize so that they can see when they're walking through and know that it's their room. I'm very, very happy with the whole setup and I've dealt with management and they're great. They get them involved with things. They are in memory care and they're not always wanting to do what everybody else wants to do, but I have no problem with anything over there.

Living Well
Our Personal Touch Care Program is a holistic approach aimed at maintaining residents' well-being and self-worth. It is a program that encompasses all aspects of our resident care.
While many think of "Activities" as pre-planned group events, such as exercise, crafts and music events where almost everyone participates, we think of "Activity" as everything the resident does throughout the day, whether planned or spontaneous. This includes our residents’ personal care, conversations with others and even time alone.
We spend a great deal of time assisting residents with personal care and the daily routines can become more meaningful when we are making sure we are using sensitivity and creativity to create the special Personal Care Moment.

From the very first contact with the staff at Silver Creek Inn, Mesa, AZ I was impressed with the professional knowledge, friendly attitude and kindness. My husband, Bernard, is residing there now with Alzheimer's. He has a great room, the staff (all of the nurses, care givers, maintenance help) are so helpful and they actually feel like family now. Jason and Kelly are wonderful, kind people who are excellent in their positions. It is so comforting to me to know such caring people are keeping my husband safe. I still have some stress but they have lifted a lot of stress off my shoulders. The food is excellent and activities so awesome. I just can't imagine what I would be doing now without all of the excellent help from everyone at Silver Creek Inn. Thanks to all!

We chose Silver Creek for my dad and have never regretted our decision. Not only is it a great facility with an excellent, caring staff but it also passed the most recent AZ Department of Health review with zero deviations which is virtually unheard of. Please visit Silver Creek before making a decision for your loved one.

Overall, the facility is very aesthetic in appearance. The facility is kept very clean. My father lived there for roughly 2 1/2 years. During this time, we did see a change in administration and staffing. We did see at times that staff were not trained the best on handling residents with Alzheimer's. I do wish that the Koelsch organization invest more funds into staff training to teach staff more patience. You cannot force of expect a person with Alzheimer's to do want you want "right now". Sometimes you need "coaxing" skills. They also need to monitor or track the supplies families are to required to purchase. If they can make some minor improvements, they could really be a top rated facility.

We have my husband’s mother at Silver Creek Inn. It’s a very nice, beautifully decorated place, but it is memory care only. You do not notice a strong smell. People are out doing activities all the time. My mother-in-law has been there since 2013 and is very well taken care of, kept very clean, and happy. They have activities all through the day. They don’t spend time in their rooms and are out doing things together all the time.

I took a tour of this beautiful home/facility last week. The decor was beautiful and it felt like an upscale home with pieces of vintage art and pictures of historic Gilbert. I loved the dining areas and how they are designed. One dining room had a beautiful breakfast bar so residents plates would stay secure. The rooms were so spacious yet comfortable. Large closets, beautiful windows with top notch alarm system. Beautiful scenery, even a restored antique car in courtyard! The place is impeccably clean, too! I have never been in a nicer facility ever. Even the staff was helpful and seemed to really care about their residents. This place is a "must" tour.

Silver Creek was a fantastic facility too, and it was very nice. It was beautiful and huge. They were well staffed. They were very helpful too. It was just too expensive for us. However, if you had the money, I would recommend that place. They had doctors on staff. They had nursing care around the clock. It was right on baseline, but because of the way the building was constructed, everything was inside. The gardens and the yards were in the back. It was very quiet and had a very residential feeling even though they had lots of business down that area.

I went out to check Silver Creek Inn Memory Care and the experience was very nice. The lady I talked to was very helpful, answered my questions, and she took me on a tour. She even followed up a little bit with me and see how things are going and invited me to some of their outside family supports groups and I actually like that. I wished my mother can be in that facility. What I like about the facility besides that it's brand new is they have very wide hallways and I can remember that it smelled clean. I was able to see a room and that was really nice. Their bathing facilities were nice too. They had scheduled activities for the residents. I saw people coming in and you could see that there is a good security there.

Silver Creek is one of the few places that has 24/7 nursing care on staff. They are excellent. Things are going great for my mom. The building is brand new and it's decorated on the inside with a lot of collectibles. Each patient's door has a box where the patient can put in pictures or little articles. They have a golf course right near the facility. On the patio, they can watch the people come and go. The staff is very, very friendly and nice. The food is good. If you don't like what they're having for lunch, you can request that they make something different and they will. They charge $10 per hour for adult day care and that includes all the activities and meals.
