My dad moved to Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care. The staff is very hands-on and caring. The gardens are very nice. They have three different communities, which is a very nice design. I have not eaten any food, but I know my dad likes it. They have a good staff-to-resident ratio.

My brother is at Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care. I think it's a small place and felt more at home than any of the other places we have seen. Some places, when you go into them, feel kind of sterile. This place felt more comfortable and I got the vibe that it was going to be a nicer place. Not necessarily nicer in the sense of the structure or anything like that. Just nicer in the sense that the person that you're taking there will feel like they're cared for and they're welcome. The room that he is in is amazing and beautiful. What we did was transfer everything from the room where he lived to his room now so that he would feel as if he was at home. They have a mass every morning at 9:30, and they also exercise. They have activities that they do with their hands or with their brain like trivia. They have a schedule of what to do throughout the month and every single day they have a set of activities without falter. I've been there when he's had something to eat and it's always healthy. It has all the components like the starters and the vegetables so you know it's a balanced meal. I haven't tasted it yet, but the chef there came from a prominent restaurant so I take it that the food is very good. My brother eats every bit of it off his plate and that alone tells me that it's good because he enjoys food. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is very clean.

I toured Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have some really nice floor plans. They have some sort of Japanese model, and I think they really live up to their commitment to that model of a type of care that's driven by how they value and honor the elderly. I think it portrays their community very well. They have a very centralized, almost a square, layout of their facilities. So, everything is close to you no matter where you would have gotten your actual unit, and then everything is in the center of that square. They put the garden in the center of it. Their dining area is very homelike. It doesn't feel like cafeteria style. It's very intimate and comfortable. They do their arts and crafts, the puzzling area, and different groups like they have a veterans group. I mean they have some really nice features to that facility. It is a higher-level facility, so its price point is much higher, and that would pertain to people who can afford that level. The staff was very professional.

I toured Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care and that was pretty good. They were big facilities, very large. I didn't see very many residents out of their rooms. Most of them were in their room, so I didn't like that part but the marketing person was excellent. She was great at showing me everything. I liked her. The salesperson as well, she was excellent. The facility, it's new and clean and has a good location. The courtyard was beautiful with a lot of nice features.

We toured Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care. The lady who walked us through was very informative and happy, and she knew every single person that lived there that we passed. She knew their names, so she stopped to chat with them. I love that they have Sunday ice cream socials. They have an ice cream parlor there. I liked the layout of the room. I liked that there were options, Mom could have a roommate, but they didn't share the same bedroom. They had a little living room and a kitchen area or a dining area for themselves, but I think my mom would enjoy having a roommate. There's also an option of having her room and bringing her dog. I liked the factor that I could even bring her pet to visit her. They have a huge inside common area and a bigger courtyard.

Savanna House looked very nice. They had a veterans area. They have a veteran come in and give information to the residents every 2 weeks. The room that I saw was neat but small, and you had to furnish it. My husband could have his own bedroom, but he would share the bathroom with someone from another room. They had an ice cream parlor where everybody could get ice cream whenever they wanted. They had occupational and physical therapy. They had a nice outdoor area.

Once you get inside Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care, the staff was super friendly. They were phenomenal. They knew all the residents by name, and the residents all seemed very happy to be there. They stopped and talked to us and would tell us about things. It was a place where I would be comfortable living. It was very well kept inside and outside. They had a nice courtyard. The dining area was restaurant-style. All meals were included. The apartments were nice. They had a smaller refrigerator with a microwave. They also had a barbershop/beauty shop, a lot of activities, and a really nice arts and crafts room. The activities really impressed us.

I liked my tour of Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care. It just felt very homey, it felt like a place to live and not necessarily an institution. It just had a better overall feel and vibe than the others I toured. In assisted living, they had some appliances in the rooms, but in memory care, there were none. They had a nice courtyard. The staff member who took me around on the tour was very friendly and helpful. She's knowledgeable not only about the facility but also about the type of condition that my dad might be in and what to expect.

Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care would have been my number one choice for my mother. Cindy is the sales manager, and she was fantastic. It was well-kept, it's clean, it was modern. The people were very friendly. It was organized, and a really beautiful property. I didn't eat the food, but I saw it, and it looked great. They had a lot of stuff going on, even in the memory care. They had crafts, they had bingo. They had puzzles that not only were they actively working on, but when they got finished, they had them all framed on the walls in this room. It was cool with everybody who had worked on it, and they had mounted them on beautiful frames, so that became the artwork. They had a lot of outside areas, and beautiful sitting areas and gardens. They actually had gardens that people could plant, and work on, like a community garden type of thing, so it was well done. The safety aspects were really good. It didn't feel like a prison, didn't look like a prison, but you could tell they weren't gonna wander down on the street.

I thought Savanna House Assisted Living & Memory Care was extremely clean. They were good and were attentive. However, they didn't seem to be able to grasp what I was telling them and think of the best approach to help mom. In terms of the activities, there were different activity areas or gathering areas. There were a lot that were to choose from. They were nicely spread out. They were clean and well lit. They were capable of helping with people who have mobility problems. The rooms were really nice. They had a very comprehensive menu and very healthy food. There was a selection in case what was being served was not palatable to the resident.

I toured. I like that one a lot. It was very nice and roomy. They had really nice areas where people could go, both outside and inside. The staff seemed very nice. It was open and it didn't seem institutionalized. It was more like a hotel, but it was nice like a nice hotel.

I did the tour, and it's actually one of the ones that I'm considering. The staff was great; they knew the names of the people there. We were able to see people engaging in activities, and it felt like they really cared about their tenants. The kitchen was closed because of COVID, so they did not offer food. They did give us a sample of some trail mix and it was really good; it was put together by their kitchen staff. The place is beautiful, it's clean, and the rooms are airy and bright.

My in-person tour means we went and saw somebody, talked in the conference room, and they showed us a room. It was pretty nice, I liked it, and it was a good experience. Most of my questions were answered. I saw a one-bedroom unit and a service studio that had a wall in there, so it was still like a one-bedroom. The staff said that most studios are that size, they just didn't have that wall in there. It was very nice, but I don't know how it compares to what's out there.
